MVP's brood war career ended when SC2 started, even though he was still active...sooooo, that's probably what you're reading. At the time that MVP moved over, from what I've read (note: I dont follow BW) he was getting more success at that point than ForGG at that point.

I do accept that my judgment could be clouded by my blatant Sage fanboyism though.

I'm religiously maintaining my stance that ForGG plays just like 15 other Terrans.

Does seem to be a minority viewpoint though apparently.

Do you really think that MVP/MKP etc. have displayed that kind of micro? MKPs marine micro vs banelings was one thing, but the way forgg dodged storms and kited was simply unparalleled.

The way he overstimmed was cool too =/

But yes, in general his micro was at a high level. And yes, I have seen MKP display just as good micro. And no, I'm not a MKP fan =/

I'll quote this when forgg wins code s next season.

Based on his TvP in one televised match of Sc2 and his BW background? Seems a little premature to me, but it wouldn't be the least surprising thing. Also on your micro comment I've seen MKP, Bomber, Polt and probably more kite and dodge storms like that all game long.
I've seen a lot more than just one series of TvP

I get this while trying to open the HQ stream, anyone got any tips?

Just kill the gomplayer.exe and gomstreamer.exe processes, then try again.

yes...mkp's micro is also truly bullshit (bs good that is) BUT to any BW follower, watch where their true power lies...watch whether cash is being floated and whether the supply is growing. You will see sage floating lol...

Oh I agree, even a lot of the former Wc3 pros micro is absurd but since this is not Wc3 you can't win on micro alone which is why the macro players have held all the championships in SC2. All the tip top players in SC2 macro like machines which is the main reason they are so successful.

He was part of team Woongjin Stars, known for having very poor Terran lineup.

woongjin was notorious for one of the weakest terran lineups MVP had one lucky MSL season (imo) and looked scary for a bit. He was just another A-team terran after that.

It's at least arguable considering the caliber of player MVP beat in his Ro8 MSL run vs fOrGG's last Ro8 MSL run.

forgg still had a round of 8 in the osl. but in comparison mvps proleague stats are just bad :D
