Naniwa AND Lucky impressed me to be honest though Naniwa made a huge blunder the 2nd game and paid the price for it when Lucky realized just how weak Naniwa was. I hope to see both Naniwa and Lucky in some more foreign tournaments and his shape.

I hope Lucky gets the credit he deserves though, honestly he's a great player, it's just a shame that he has to play the role of the big scary Korean against the all-star foreign hope that everyone wants to win (i.e. naniwa and stephano).

A sign of things to come?

Definitely, it's scary to think how good the current BW A-teamers will be considering Forgg's qualified straight into Code A and beaten one of the most popular protosses

There are some direct foreigner seeds into the up/down matches but no clue why Demuslim should get one lol

( @last game

he got it form MLG GOM went down the line in the MLG that he got 14th and Demuslim took the seed

There wasn't a single MLG where Demuslim had a better/equal performance than Naniwa so I don't get why Naniwa gets a Code A ro48 Seed and Demuslim a up/down match seed :|

Pretty sure McEnroe refused some handshakes under his career and more. Do you think he was hated?

I haven't seen this from McEnroe, but I think it would be strange if even he didn't hear anything about it?

Anyways if he did get away with it alot, then it is probably because he was one of the best in the world. Naniwa acting like this in the code A ro48 against an opponent who played straight up is pretty pathetic and in my opinion should be frowned upon.

I wonder if his sponsor will act on this, probably not but if he keeps doing this they might.
Just enjoy!

Just watched the game and fighting on 2 fronts while macroing constantly certainly didn't look like a problem for forgg at all. Sage on the other hand, was struggling to keep up production while he was trying his harass and was floating plenty by the time forgg counter attacked.

The mechanics of these BW A-teamers are just on another level compared to most of these sc2 pros. We still see so many suppy blocks, zero reaction to banshees, missing things on the minimap. These are how the BW pros will dominate i guess. Make absolutely 0 mistakes with these fundamentals.

Missing a GG isn't even important. It isn't like NaNiWa went out of his way to BM anybody. Such a pointless argument...

Somewhere along the line people forgot that gg means good game. If the game was not good for you then you are not obligated to gg out. Like all courteous gestures, they are optional. I dont get why people get their panties in a bunch over something as simple as this. Also Naniwa not gging has generated more buzz than anything else so i would guess that his sponsors are fine with that.

Though gg was for good game, in well disciplined Korean scene, it has other functions you dont know.

Basically you can only type gg and ppp in a standard KeSPA game to avoid match fixing. If you type anything else in the game, you are forced to give a lose result. If you dont type gg after losing a game and just exit, you may be banned for future games.

GSL dont have the rule of these, but Koreans pros normally follow their old BW standards in their games.
