and still win the whole tournament! (right?)

You can't win that season's Code S if you're in/drop down to that season's Code A.

Wrong, but you will have a chance to get back into Code S for next season.

ForGG cheesed Game 1 and won. He also won Game 2 and it was a very entertaining game. Recommend a watch.

first game he did a proxy 2 rax cheese BO win.
second game he held off a scary timing from sage that involved warp in dts at the back and a bunch of gateway units at the front. Displayed very good micro and crisis management and eventually won.

You lose in Ro32/24, you're out for THAT season. You can only win Code S the following season.
And you need to do this to get there: 1. Get Top 2 in a group of 6 players for the Up/Down matches 2. Win at least two Ro32 matches to get into Ro16 3. Win at least two Ro16 matches to get into Ro8 4. Win a Bo5 in Ro8 5. Win another Bo5 in Ro4 6. Win a Bo7 in GF.
If you manage to do that especially with how stacked Code S and Code A are, you're definitely good enough to win.

Noooooo Select T_T But yay forGG!

Besides irrationally rooting for HongUn because I think he's awesome, got every Liquibet right today :D :D :D
Shame about foreigners, though, somehow they choke on Code A Round 1 every single time.

glad the old BW pro's NaDa & ForGG were able to show their best =). Too bad all the foreigners went down (and hard :-/). Hopefully they've learnt from playing on this stage, and there won't be choking next time. Because I believe SaSe, NaNiwA & SelecT all have what it takes to become real code A material.

That was far from NaDa's "best"

THANK GOD NADA !!!! i was scared as shit u gonna lose watching ur stream yesterday and you was like 6 losing streak

Impressed by fOrGG, he still has a lot to prove but it certainly looked like a good start.

He got in his first try man.

So glad NaDa got through.
I knew forGG would beat Sage. I've been arguing with a friend for a long time now that Sage was overhyped. Apart from a decent gsl code a run, and some best of 1 wins in the GSTL, I haven't seen enough results from Sage to justify the hype. It wasn't so long ago people were calling him the future of protoss and saying he was better than MC.

forGG the dark horse BW pro is another step closer to Code S with a 2-0 victory over a heavy favorite in his first run through Code A....
A sign of things to come?
