Painuser reckoned that the attack on the PF was a huge loss to Sheth, but he killed all the tanks and lost very few mutas...seemed to me like it was a real success.

Wow, good play by Sheth in game 1. Ryung's play looked very lackluster and confused.

yeah im not sure why he said that was ineffective, sheth had like 4 bases and was going for a 5th/6th, had full map control and had the bank to reinforce so i feel like it was smart to widdle down ryung's force and not let him sit back and macro

Oh man, I'm a fan of both Sheth and Ryung so I guess I need to root for whoever's behind in the series, just to get more games in.
great game 1 Sheth, showing us some solid zvt skills

edit: how's this for coincidence? today i randomly decided to wear my TL shirt that Ryung and Sheth both signed at IPL3 in atlantic city...

Ryung's the least favored of BoxeR's sons. MMA, TaeJa, and GanZi all seem to overshadow him with their tournament results. However, I still think he's a really, really fantastic player and hope he picks things up with his future tournament-play.

I think that is only of late, a few months ago Ryung was considered second or maybe even the best SlayerS Terran by some.

Bad exchange for both players but imo Ryung ends up better than Sheth.

Yeah but BoxeR wasn't one of the ones that considered him that high on the SlayerS Terran ladder.
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

I think his TvP has always been the weakest out of the 4 but yeah, he was a pretty good player up until just recently where he's been getting knocked out early.

Also, Ryung did in fact beat stephano in some qualifier 3-1, all 3 wins in macro games.

Now back to the game, Sheth is playing really well catching up to Ryung, nice counterattacks and mini-map attention!

I really hope Sheth wins this series, I would love to see how well he plays against Koreans, and so he can prove to not only everyone, but himself as well, that he is a good player and can place very highly at the MLG Providence Finals this weekend
