Too bad Stephano is missing, would be the perfect foreigner-only event with him.

Yeah, lots of good foreigners. Impossible to predict the winner of this, though I think the non-Euros are favorites since the top 3 euros are missing (Stephano, Naniwa, Thorzain).

Cheering for White-Ra, of course!

HuK vs Elfi (they played at assembly, where elfi eliminated huk if I remember correctly)
Select vs Dimaga (epic game at blizzcon last weekend)
Idra vs SjoW (played at mlg raleigh, sjow won)
Ret vs White-Ra (played at blizzard eu invitational I believe)

Nice observation but I guess these guys being all foreigners and long enough in the scene are bound to have met before. Anyway, HuK didn't play elfi at Assembly Winter or Summer.

Ret takes this I guess, White-Ra & IdrA are both player who match his playstyle. HuK will be an extremly hard nut to crack, but Ret is able to crack him. Besides a little TL succes would be nice, pretty long ago that TL took a "big" tournament.

Very stacked. I still can't pick a favorite.

I hope Dimaga can get revenge for Blizzcon and than go on to take his second tournament on finnish ground. I think the chances are quite good, if he can go past SeleCT, because elfi is not so good against Z (hoping, that elfi beats HuK) and then he would most likely face Idra/Ret in the finals and Dimaga´s ZvZ is superior to both of them IMO.

Didn't really thing much of Elfi as a player, but the past couple weeks have really changed my mind. The guy is an absolute monster, can't wait to see his performance. Obviously can't ignore the prowess of the other players as well, really conflicted as to who will take this.

Elfi's PvP is dominant - if any European Protoss can defeat HuK it's Elfi.

I think Naniwa, Mana and SaSe also would have a fair shot ^_^

White-Ra, Socke, Hasuobs or ToD also have a chance on a good day. But You´re right, elfi seemed like a PvP specialist in the last weeks, he is one of the first, who comes to mind.
