After round 1 of code A you have 24 players and then they add in the 8 players who came in 3rd to give you a grand total of 32 players. After that they will play anothe round and the losers are in up/down matches and winners move on. There will be 16 people remaining+ the 8 losers from the Ro16 will join them to play one last series. The winners of each of these matches gets Code S and the rest join the previous rounds losers in up/down. To summerize the major changes: 1. You can go from code S to code A in 1 season by getting 4th place in your group and then losing in round1 of code A. 2. If you finish 3rd in your group you can wind up in up down matches by losing either your next series in ro32 in code A or the ro24. If you win both those you are safe in code S. 3. If you lose in Ro16 than you can go to up down matches by losing in the Ro24 in code A. If you win in the Ro24 than that player is safe in Code S. 4. If you advance to Ro8 in code S than you are safe in code S for another season. 5. The up/downs will consists of 30 players. 10 will make it to code S and 20 will remain in code A to join 20 new players who win qualifiers or are invited by GOM 6. Does not appear to be any code A final and the 12 remaining players all just automatically go into code S. I hope this helps Ill edit any parts that I got wrong.
