This is what Puma does in every recent PvT, just watch some of his games vs lesser known players i.e Cruncher

He 1-1-1's the first game then Cloak 1-1-1's on the map that is the most favored for regular 1-1-1, i.e Dual sight and Xel'Naga

If you think the 1-1-1 on Shakuras was bullshit then imagine it on Xel'Naga, how do you even stop that?

Sase took a risk here, it didn't work.

If Sase had gone dt-s, and Puma didn't have orbitals and turrets for some reason, would that be imbalanced too ? :D

What Terran doesn't get an orbital? Stop being silly.

Well, what protoss doesn't get cannons/obs at the cloak banshee timing ? Except for those proxy-gating and 4-gating that would force cloak cancel ??
Yeah, whatever

No problem he since he's walled in and build ravens from the starport with tech-lab.
Are people actually comparing DT with clack Banshees? LMAO

terrible series, I don't think Puma is actually that good tvp, he just 1/1/1s. Terrible.

Because he only went 1-1-1 against MC at NASL, JYP at Guangzhou, and HerO and White-Ra at IPL, right? /facepalm

DJWheat: Some 1-1-1s come WITHOUT cloak. Actually, many do. Sase tried his best to play absolutely safe last game by getting a faster observer. This game, he took a gamble. It wasn't a silly mistake, it was a calculated decision.

Wow Sase looked bad vs puma. All the wrong responses to 1-1-1 ;(
I'm hoping that SaSe just didn't want to reveal his all smash vs 1-1-1 until the champ bracket

He would have been in a better position winning his group than saving builds for the bracket.

People in here saying that PuMa really has bad TvP and that he just 1/1/1's all the time makes me lol pretty hard.

I don't even especially mind. Let PuMa get his easy wins while he still can, his poor mechanics and gimmicky play will catch up with him once the 1/1/1 gets patched. For the time being, he'll continue winning until he hits a good T or Z, just like in most tournaments he enters.

erm nasl... even without 1-1-1 he is one of the best terrans in korea.

NASL was like 4 months ago. Ever since that time, he lost every time the moment he met a Code S Terran or Zerg. Lost to Coca and Nada at MLG, then to MVP and Coca at the MLG Invitational, to MMA at IPL3, and even to Idra at IEM Guangzhou. If you put him in Code S right now, he'd go 1-2 in his group or fall to the Up/Down matches.

"best terran in korea" my ass.

As if losing to MVP, Nada or MMA, three of the ultra top terrans means your TvP sucks when you actually didn't list a single protoss.

they are too stupid to realize why its so powerful.

They act as if 1 immortal range is going to help, the problem is there are so many marines and its near impossible to get enough splash damage out to deal with them when tanks/banshee kill all gateway units and if you rush to colluses you have no gas for stalkers so the banshees rip them apart.

don't know what the proper response is if you put down a nexus.

Id love to see you beating Puma in PvT at MLG, are you volunteering?

Lol comments like this are so bullshit..

Even if 1-1-1 is OP Sase completly failed any build.. it wasn't even close, make no obs when cloak banshee is in base? Can't blame 1-1-1 for that moron

Whether or not a Terran gets cloak is a coin flip. Puma didn't get it in the first game but did in the 2nd. Sase had no way of knowing in either game, and getting an Observer is a surprisingly big investment in a tight situation like that. This all comes back to that whole scouting a Terran issue.

Yeah okay, but after he comes in your base and CLOAKS and still build no observer that isn't Pumas fault..

And I hope the next time you ladder every terran 1-1-1's you just cause you're such a crybaby

In another situation I would agree with you, 1-1-1 still needs nerfing despite me being terran xD. However :
Teching to collossi when you've already seen a 1-1-1 coming and you are on 2base is not a risk. Not making an observer after seeing a cloak banshee is not a risk. It's what would have happened if you didn't scout them and decided to risk, and had the bad luck. In this case, it was just abysmal decision making.
Yeah, whatever

SaSe built a robo ENTIRELY for obsevers at that point... but he warped in 1 stalker too many and didnt have the gas at the right timing... a slight macro mistake that cost him the whole game

No he just probably doesn't care about "fans" who don't appreciate him because of the builds he does

The game was over even if he had built an observer. He just used all his warpgate cooldowns, he then has to run all his probes around until he has the observer out and enough Stalkers to defend just after investing in an expansion...There is almost a garunteed loss of around 5+ Probes and a ton of lost mining time.

Even with the observer the game was already over, Sase couldn't break up Puma's ramp nor defend the banshee
