Standard LR thread rules apply. No caster bashing, no insulting the interviewers, no player bashing, no balance whining. Bans will be doled out to violators so don't shit up this thread with immature garbage. |

Pyuma makes sense to me :p In my mind Puma rhymes with Uma, like Uma Therman. And this confirms it: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/puma#English Whoever posted it last time misread it. I believe the E at the end of puke is why its different. Because in puck, the pu is just like puma.
Yes, for some reason people think "e" doesnt do anything, that we sprinkle it wherever the fuck we want.

I don't think it was that he wanted to position himself like that, he just did not want to engage at that time and probably hoped to stall for a while. no reason why he couldnt have had a sentry in position to make puma's maneuver impossible. it's just another drawback of grouping all the army in one hotkey. I agree with this, I facepalm so hard when I see the "best" sc2 players with complete army in 1 hotkey.. or maybe 2. It's gonnabe funny when some real good BW players transfer to sc2 ^^
that's not true, whitera had stalkers on control group 1, sentries on 2 and zealots on 3rd. Saw it when they selected some random protoss unit.

So when are you going to be OK to hear Protoss QQ? When no single Protoss player is left by 1/16 final? Never in this thread. Have you even bothered to read the top? I'm not trying to get in balance debates, I'm questioning why people are blaming balance for losses. This isn't the thread for it.
But that is also leading into balance discussions. LR threads would be infinitely better off if we just ignored those comments altogether and moved on.

Honestly... White-Ra just said "terran to good". He never explained why he thought so (would be very unreasonable obviously), and he clearly didn't play a good game.
However, so many people are taking as the "nail in the coffin" for the Terranimba debate. Why? Where is the justification? Can you actually point something out that screams "TERRAN IMBA" without actually just saying the same words, AND without being opinionated? Doubt it.
Really hope to see Puma vs MMA where people simply cannot cry about balance without appearing as idiots.

'he repaired VERY well'
i guess clicking repair qualifies as impressive now?

there was a banshee, and it is not terran's fault if zerg does not bypass the bunker or kills scvs

Because there is another wall. You gonna have to sacrifice every roach to bust that down.

I think it's pretty clear that White-ra could have played much better than he did. And I say that as a White-ra fanboy.

Bunkers are immobile. His forces took over 2 minutes to die to that bunker, he could have walked past it into the mineral line in less than 15 seconds.

Forget WhiteRa game, do you think Puma outplayed Hero? Honest opinion, even setting aside the fact that Hero is your teammate. i think hero made a lot of mistakes, especially in game three. i think people aren't able to judge who played better. they look for high difficulty strategies and tactics, i guess. but the fact is, application of good basic strategy + making less mistakes than your opponent = win.
Tyler even more awesome than usual.
Hate when people just decide who outplayed who when they actually don't really know.

It's easy to make a statement after someone like Tyler says it. I hate when people jump in and agree with well respected people in the community just because they know they won't be criticized and can be right.
Puma outplayed WhiteRa. For the majority of the game WhiteRa was out macroing Puma. When it really mattered he messed up and got supply blocked. The main reason he lost was positioning not macro. That was my point.
