Remember guys; no caster bashing, balancing whining or player abuse - you guys should know this by now! |
God i srsly cant stand this shit.
Everybody who really thinks he prematurely gg'ed should go back to their silverleagues and not post this shit here. He was totally dead, like 0% chance of coming back and if you cant see that you have no clue about starcraft 2. Really no clue...its not even worth discussing why he was dead.
And on his forfeiting, he was supposed to be done hours ago. Obviously still tried to complete for the 1k$ and lost the first set, so his chances of winning while playing that late are pretty slim. Also he would risk his form for the tournament tommorow which is way way way more important. I can totally understand his decision.
If it would have been any other player in Idras position right now, probably many of you guys would have just kept their mouths shut here....

By far the best tournament so far, IMO.
It's between Dreamhack and this definately.

We are not entertained I like watching Idra, but IPL are offering so much content and entertainment that I have trouble following all. Having or not having Idra makes no difference to me.
I feel Idra thinks he is more important than he is. IPL rocks.

Then they should also put something in the contract also stating that they won't force players to wait several hours behind schedule to play all their games after going through all the stress.

Still, my point is the fighting spirit. And there is none at all on idras part. And people without the will to win and to fight for it will not succeed. Watch code S. You will almost NEVER see a korean throw a game until they are leaps and bounds behind and there is absolutely no chance of a comeback. Idra has no discipline. One of the greatest terrans of all time Oov was known for giving up as soon as he knew he was dead. If you play the game out in that situation you ofcourse have a small chance that the opponent will fuck up badly but most probably you will just wear yourself out both physically and mentally. Youve never been there, you dont know what its like, end of discussion. Ironic, since iloveoov's mentor and apprentice both are famous for dragging their games out to the last second.
I'm disappointed that Idra won't be playing any more games tonight, but the reasoning seems reasonable, and I guess you can't expect him to not be Idra overnight.

IdrA went usa -> cn -> usa, koreans only kr -> usa
also I think guangzou time and kst are two time zones apart
