Besides, people like the food they grew up with, what's wrong with that? Italian food's always been fascinating to me because of the tomato, you know that fruit that didn't exist in Europe until after the New World was colonized. So it's not like what we think of as Italian food was always like that (and yes I know of authentic Italian dishes without tomatoes). | ||
