The concepts for GSL 2012 are: 1. More chances 2. Prove yourself 3. Are you qualified to stay in Code S? I also like the sound of this, sounds like the turnover for Code S will be quicker meaning there will be a better chance for rising players to make it in Code S and insert new blood into the sytem. | ||

Doubling the turnover chance could be good. Instead of 8 players falling to up and down, 16, for example. That would mean everyone who failed to advance to Ro16. also, I think what the GSL needs is less chances, in order to make them special to win like an OSL... winning an OSL is an incredible achievement, I hope GSL can have the same value one day. I think what GOM should look into is other tournaments and also into expanding the GSTL into a long season format like the proleague. In addition, while the Code S/Code A/Code B format makes sense and is clearly deliniated at this point, I'm starting to wonder what would happen if we let some of the young guns have a straight shot at the title instead of stuffing them into code A.... I think Code B and Code A should be a long offline/online prelim and the best 16 out of that go onto the main GSL with the top 16 from the previous GSL, somewhat alike to the current MSL format. | ||
