Very awesome tourny concept, and I hope to see more like it in the future. As other people have been mentioning, while GSL being so frequent is great on a lot of fronts, it does kind of water down winning it compared to an OSL. So in response we need a definitive 'world championship' where the undeniable best players of the year face off for a grand prize.

This sounds pretty awesome. I also like that is happens over the course of a series of consecutive days, so it decreases the odds of build order wars that tend to happen when players are given too much time to question themselves and prepare specifically for one player and one map.

Technically it is, but the spread of players form nations are distributed too evenly (Koreans not represented enough)

This way, we get the best of the best, and if they happen to be Korean (which most are lol) then it accurately shows the worlds top players.

I think the only downside to this is that we're already guarantee'd a replacement invitee because of the high likelyhood of NesTea/MVP winning Blizzcon, while still keeping their places in the GSL rankings. Hopefully this means someone like Polt or Bomber will get the invite in their place.
