I find the skits and IGN commercials to be almost painful to watch depending on which one is playing, some are really really bad and unfunny unfortunately. I would much prefer standard advertising.

Totally agree. If I had convinced anyone outside of SC2 to sit down and watch IPL with me, I'd be embarrassed as fuck.

Professional hosted event deserves professional advertising.

The Jazz are a pro team.... him being on any pro team is fairly similar but recently the Jazz have been an above average team but not one of the big 4-6 teams. You can check his stats for yourself fairly easily im sure

I found his stats, but I had no idea what they meant haha. His wikipedia page says he outplayed Kobe Bryant. I've heard of Kobe Bryant so that means something to me.

What I really wanted is someone to compare the Utah Jazz to a football team and Gordon Hayward to a football player, but I guess there's probably not anyone who watched the NBA and a football league enough to be able to do that.

Can't find the position he plays but his points average is a bit lowish, he gets a decent amount of rebounds and other such stats, and he was a rookie. I would say by the sounds of it he might have some potential and is a lower end solid player. Backup on some teams, starter on some. Sounds like he did well at the end of his rookie year last year.

Heyward plays forward, and his points average was high teens last time I looked, which is not "lowish". Sub-10 is lowish.

he was playing mostly backup forward last season. i think utah really underperformed actually.. but hayward is still improving, did pretty well towards the tail end of the season..

he started once Jerry Sloan retired mid season. Sloan barely played him. Utah was underperforming badly with Sloan and then they traded away Deron Willams which was the end of their season pretty much.
