Don't know if you can say Pinnacle predicts Ryung to win over MC when the odds are Ryung -116, MC -101. They predict that there is a ~52% chance that Ryung wins. That being said, they predict a lot of matches to be very close ![]()

I prefer having everyone starting on an equal ground for the bracket. The perfect system for me would have a lower bracket though, because I love epic lower brackets run ![]() The MLG open bracket is tougher because if the seeding system worked correctly, the Pros would be in the pools and the AMs are in the open bracket. That's how it works for every other MLG game. Open bracket teams get wrecked in pool play, and usually lose to pool play teams. It's fair to expect the open bracket players to have to prove themselves. The one problem of course is that SC2 Open bracket players are pretty much on the same level (or better for first time koreans) as pool play players. While in Halo and CoD, pool play teams are significantly better. All it does is make the open bracket tougher though. I think if IPL gave the person that got first in each group a spot in the ro16, then people will actually try in the groups. Otherwise, it doesn't actually matter because if you get 4th in your group or 1st, you'll still start off at the same spot (Ro32).
