While Grubby had earlier robotics (thus earlier obs), faster natural, faster blink and faster +1 attack upgrade. | ||

Mana was ahead the whole game :o PvP is about timings, and since I was watching that PvP, I saw every single thing happen faster for Grubby. Getting the gas on 19 unpunished, while MaNa waited until about 24 to grab his, let Grubby get his tech up faster, which let him secure his expo faster, which let him start upgrades faster, ect. Grubby didn't capitalize on his time advantage enough, so it didn't look like he was ahead. He had immortals and blink up about 15 seconds faster than MaNa, and +1 was 20 seconds faster. Had he found a way to abuse those timing windows, he could have done a lot more damage. MaNa did a god job of feigning aggression, making grubby think he was continuing to mass stalkers, but was really switching to double robo collosus. He made the move right when he picked off Grubby's second obs, and grubby didn't react until his re-made 3rd obs got into MaNa's base. | ||
