Wow since when is there footage from the event?(besides a lot of interviews) When I tuned in to the stream yesterday I only say Khaldor and the games. Is there a stream which also shows the stage and the players or so?
Also very impressive crowd, I didnt think the esports scene in France was that good and great to see foreigners do well again!

They were pretty standard, first game MKP did early MM aggression and stephano held it off with Roach Ling, then went into infestors and then ultras while expanding a lot, MKP stuck on 3 bases eventually got overwhelmed by lots of waves of ultra ling infestor.
Second game MKP made quite a few hellions which killed lots of lings but no drones, and then banshees which weren't that effective. Stephano made muta ling baneling and won with a strong push.

I expect he has noise cancelling headphones on - I don't think booths would block out that much sound anyway so headphones would be the most important bit.
There was like 15 years of esports outside korean starcraft without player booths. ESWC exists since 2003, I'm sure they would be aware if there would be a problem.
Yeah, and I'm pretty sure ESWC paid all other players to mute themselves about Stephano cheating his way to final.
Well lets wait and see if there are some complaints about that afterwards. Noise cancelling headphones can´t block out all that noise, MLG, for example, used to have that and some players complained. Every event should have booths. Just to be sure you know.
I´m not saying it is Stephanos fault, he is good enough to make the finals without "cheating".
I had a good laugh reading this thread. People accusing Stephano of cheating. Maybe you guys can watch a cs 1.6 tournament some time and whoa no booths. Would be hard to make them for 5 players. with good noise canceling headphones plus in ear plugs player are unable to hear anything.
