Darkforce with some good ling runby action now, taking his seventh at the 6'o'clock expo. DF gets a nydus up finally near TZain's nat, but Tzain works out exactly where it is and denies the lings from getting into his main straight away. Thorzain scouts the seventh when he tries to land his own CC there. TZain takes out both the fifth and the seventh base of Darkforce Darkforce holding on but he's being steadily whittled down, retaking his fifth and taking a new seventh at 12. TZain resuming nuke production, the resource count tells the tale. TZain back to a 4k/4k bank and DF under 1k on both. HUuuuuuuuuge engagement finally, and as expected Thorzain comes out on top (I should note that he sacced so many SCV's that he's been running off about 20 + mules for ages now so his army size has been huge). DF does land a few fungals but vikings + snipe rules the day. DF does still have a ton of infestors but they've either been emp'd or blown their energy on spells. TZain barrels though and is taking out expansions, units, and everything in between. The difference is over 100 supply now with TZain remaxing incredibly fast and DF being resource starved. More bases go down, and DF taps out. Thorzain wins 2-1

But also the map I guess. The middle and thus all your expansions are too easy to hold, every counterattack attempts too easily shut down. On a more dynamic map like Tal'Darim or Daybreak that would be different. edit: Also games like these with super long stand-offs are just extremely boring and stupid. Maps that are easily split just suck.

Who are the live casters? And why arent these two allowed to cast directly at the event? As far as I know there are no live casters at the event or at least no English live commentary. Thankfully Doa+Khaldor and TB are doing a good job though
