Huk 2-0 [sorry cookie monster, you pulled off more than I thought you could last week, but Huk is really good  ]

I think ClouD can take down HuK, Rain is miles ahead of the HayprO we see at LANs, Darkforce CAN beat Brat_OK, it depends on if it's the good Brat_OK, or the bad one. MaNa > Axslav, simple.

Yes, Axslav is "pretty good". He's one of the better American Protoses. I just predicted Mana 2-0ing him, so it's not like I was saying he's better than Mana.

I really hope that Haypro is gonna recover and take this game. He's such a great player, but after all, it's mainly results that count.
The other games will be pretty close I guess. I wouldnt give huk a huge edge over cloud. Darkforce vs Bratok will be close as well, I hope that Darkforce will take it thou.
The only clear favourite to me in these matches is mana over axslav. But then again, it's a mirror match-up

Seems to me that Gunrun's casting style is better suited for solocasting somehow. I prefered Gretorps chemistry with the other casters. They haven't been casting together for long though so they probably need some time to adjust.

wow ClouD. Small engagement in the middle, move out, siege up, engage HuK's army, wipe it out without too much effort, and then win. I was waiting for HuK to pull something out or have something up his sleeve, but he just straight up lost. No Ghosts built for ClouD either I think. Wow

Just a good two base all in from Cloud there, bad engagement from huk (zealots behind the stalkers, immortals doing nothing (played pre-patch?)).

HuK was way behind in supply for a really long time, despite no fighting at all.
Just an issue of HuK getting too much tech and those cannons as well as not the greatest control ever while ClouD just went for a really big push.

how was ClouD's push an all-in? He didnt bring workers, he brought his army. Yeah if he loses the entire army in a bad way it leaves him in a rough spot, but attacking with your army is an all-in?
Also, HuK with the great forcefields in Game 2 and ClouD just didnt have enough defense to deal with it. HuK hit ClouD at a really weak time while he was getting upgrades and had no marauders out yet. Cool cool

I think the casters are alright, but why is Incontrol not casting anymore at all? He definitly has a great sense of humour, which these two guys are lacking a bit I think. I know that he's competing in the league as well, but he also did so last season.

hm..true. Game 3 was kinda confusing from ClouD. Not sure how he was gonna do damage with the marines and hellions. maybe drawing units out with the marines while dropping hellions in the main? And even then they were red flame hellions. Oh well. Gj HuK though. 3-0 so far in his group

Just something ive noticed over the past few days (in comparison to last season) the amount of viewers has really dropped off quite substantially about 3-5k a day (is that sustainable)

'Haypro played this perfectly'. I understand talking up your own games, but this really should not be killing anyone. Edit. Err, 'fooling anyone'. Some kind of psychological slip right there.
Grats to Haypro though, by all means. Hope he can close this out, would be kind of heartbreaking to see him lose after that.

If he hadn't forgotten baneling speed until he was 200/200 and the terran army was at his door he probably would of won. :-( He had plenty of troops to clean the push up but he had to sit there and wait for the entire upgrade to go through as he lost his hatchery.

Why not send out the drones to push out marines/scvs until lings pop? That's what I normally see from Leenock, DRG, Nestea, etc. Those drones weren't mining but just sat in front of the hatch like dummies.

Pretty nice game from brat-ok. As soon as he was a base up he just went out and tradeed armies till darkforce couldn't keep up.

I just don't get it. How many times Zergs will be caught off guard until you should never underestimate the possibility of bunker rush? It doesn't matter how big a map is and whatever your guess is. I know it's not exactly fair for Terran to pull off an easy win but it is not unbeatable as long as the Z stay alert. Disappointing defense from Darkforce.

Yes because as soon as the T scouts it early (and he will, if you want roaches to prevent bunkers than the SCV will scout the warren), he goes for marine and 1-2 marauders.

I like the low APM, shows what it actually takes to play at a pro level. Not crazy fingers, just a good understanding of the game.

axslav screwed up his micro pretty badly. he should have won that one easily.
He had a stalker lifted and all his phx focus firing it while there were still 2 colossus on the field.

Every game I've watched from Axslav recently have had him opening with really strong build order counters on his opponent and still somehow losing. He just cannot win a PvP to save his life.

You can open 1 base roach, get like 4-5 roaches to deal with any early game crap, and then pump pure drones and get muta or infestors really easily. Terrans will often assume that you will be going for some kind of roach baneling all in and will be really defensive

Yeah, that's what I do down in plat/diamond, never see pros do that, and it seems like it would solve a lot of those bunker rushes. 4/4 on my liquibet though, even though Rain earned an antifan.

Considering that the vision up ramp thing is a HUGE PvP change, yeah, I think that's a fair complaint, considering it would have been a totally different outcome with the patch.

The games are played with at least a two day delay. This is a well known fact.

Yeah they should anticipate Blizz patches for when they play the games...
Leave it, they have improved so much this season, no need to nitpick. Especially if you didn't buy premium.

If that is true why would I bother to watch it at all with so many quality tournament in full HD even?!
And GSL is same quality but there at least I get to watch better players and better casters

Mid last season they went down to 240p instead of 480p I think. No idea why.

I would even be happy with 360p, it is watchable. But with 240p I won't even bother to the +1 on the stream viewer numbers.

Dear lord, Gretorp and GunRun might be the worst casting duo on any major SC2 competition.
One has absolutely zero understanding of the game while the other can't seem to figure out a way to finish a sentence without using the word "entire".
About the matchups, results were pretty predictable outside from Brat_Ok taking down DarkForce 2-0.

They did not drop it to 240p. They dropped it to 360p. -_- You should have 240 and 360 available (I do and I don't have a pass)

I just checked that 360 is working for me. 360 is supposed to be free. I have informed twitch.tv. For those who are not getting it for free, please provide some more information. location etc so they can narrow down the issue.

Well I've caught the start of the NA broadcasts these last couple of days and there was no problem, and it seems to be a problem for people from the EU judging from the comments, which is nothing new when it comes to twitch.tv.
Can remember some similar problems from season 1 a restart of the broadcast fixed that.
