I root against every single Terran from the team Slayers, sans Boxer. They are the most abusive and undeserving Terrans in code S, pushing the Terran OPness to the max. Coca and Puzzle will fall victim of it and start showing symptom of depression just like Alicia did.
On the bright side, they help expose the OPness of Terran. But meanwhile they're still reaping fruits so I'm naturally hoping for them to lose.
boxer is their coach. thats why they are good. boxer is smart so he teaches them to play in abusive ways sometimes. but they are not bad players by any means. their coaching makes them perform better than they would otherwise (like skt1 in bw)
edit: for the record, it IS annoying to see slayers' T come out with some sick timings and destroy fan favorites of other races lol.

Well Killer won a game against polt last gsl, so it is not completly hopeless. He has to get pretty lucky. I don't know how killer's pvz is but drg showed improvement in his zvz and zvp so drg should be the clear favourite against killer.
|
I hate to say it Protoss players but I don't think SangHo has a chance of getting out of that group. It's possible he might stay in Code S but advancing over Polt or DRG? Not a chance. Taeja is no slouch either.
|
Group G: probably DRG & Taeja
Group H is actually really hard to predict, I find it hard to adequately rate these players.
I'll go for Top and Supernova, oGs fighting!
|
I hope DRG makes it through. His ZvT is phenomenally awesome and arguably the best in the world, so he should do well in this Terran-dominated Code S season.
DRG isn't stuck in a room full of Terrans. The Terrans are stuck in a room with DRG.
And then there is Killer/Sangho.

lol qft.
I think MVP and MMA are the only Terrans in Code S that aren't afraid of DRG. Maybe Bomber too I guess.

Slayers Terrans are wonderful to watch. They come up with innovative play that other Terrans can only dream about. There are plenty of excellent Terrans in Korea (and only in Korea some would argue) like Polt, Bomber, TOP but I only really enjoy watching Slayers Terrans and MVP.

Well I have to root for Killer, the last hope for protoss this season
|
Group G
(T)Polt <Bel'Shir Beach 1.2> (P)SangHo Polt's TvP is beast, killer's is not. (Z)DongRaeGu <Dual Sight> (T)Taeja Dongraegu's ZvT is one of the best in the world, if not the best, Dual Sight, etc. Polt <Crossfire SE> Dongraegu Crossfire, great for dongraegu's counterattack style, so Polt will probably lose. Sangho <Metalopolis 1.1> Taeja Taeja's best MU is TvP and he's tearing up the korean weeklys. Polt <Antiga Shipyard> Taeja I just feel like Polt has a lot better results, though Taeja has better winrate in TvT, on the other hand Polt 4:0'd MMA, has faced much tougher opponents and thus his TvT being slightly worse doesn't mean anything.
Dongraegu 2-0, advances to Ro16 Polt 2-1, advances to Ro16 Taeja 1-2, stays in Code S Sangho 0-2, drops to up/down matches
Group H
(T)TOP <Tal'Darim Altar LE> (Z)CoCa CoCa's ZvT is pretty bad, and he's on a huge losing streak. (T)SuperNoVa <Antiga Shipyard 1.1> (T)aLive SuperNoVa is always in Code S. SuperNoVa <Bel'Shir Beach 1.2> TOP But he never makes it past the first round. CoCa <Crossfire SE> aLive aLive has good ZvT, especially compared to CoCa's. aLive <Xel'Naga Fortress> SuperNoVa SuperNoVa's really not been doing well, and aLive's results are overdue!
TOP 2-0 goes to RO16 ALive 2-1 goes to RO16 SuperNoVa 1-2 stays in Code S CoCa 0-2 goes to the up/down matches.

I can see why the Zealot is crying lol...there's a very high chance of no toss in ro16 and yet another one going to the up/down. Anyways on to the groups:
Group G:
DRG easy 2-0 because he'll probably face Polt after Taeja. Hell, he could probably take killer too. After that, ummmmmm....Taeja..or Polt, whatever don't really care.
Group H:
Top will likely come out on top....... <_>
THEN, probably Supernova. Coca doesn't have a good zvt record but he only has one matchup to prepare for and he's now on slayers, a team that is carried by terrans which he can practice with. So he might get out too.
Alive is near the top of my list of players I'd like to see out of code S. I think he'll go to the up/down.

MMA maybe, but MVP definitely not.

Protoss tears will be shed.
G: DRG and Polt. H: Supernova and Coca.

|
Help us. SangHo. You're our only hope! How epic of a storyline would his run through the tournament be? GO SANGHO, THE PROTOSS HOPE!
|
all 3 of Killer's opponents have a very good vP record. this is not looking good. Come on Killer!
|
It's an interesting side-effect of the format that the player who picks second often doesn't ever play their chosen opponent. To make matters worse, those players are already less likely to advance because their first match is against one of the top 8. That's pretty harsh all around.
Killer probably has something prepared for DRG's weaker ZvP, but unless he beats Polt or DRG gets upset, he's going to get knocked out by the Terrans without ever playing his choice. To me that's a serious weakness in the current group format. Why not just do a proper round-robin?

TaeJa, DRG CoCa, TOP ! ! !

MMA maybe, but MVP definitely not. Yeah, back in Anaheim, MVP wrecked DRG. TaeJa probably won't beat DRG unless MMA knows something, and Polt gets out 2-0. Sadly, I can't see Sangho beating TaeJa.

i hope all the zergs make it out since were gonna have 0 protoss in ro16 b/c theres no way killer is making out here alive better decrease the number of terran as much as possible
