Killer looked like he meant business last round, let's see if he can keep it up. BTW. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_Global_StarCraft_II_League_October/Code_SDoes the bracket seem a little lopsided to anyone else. The top portion of the bracket just seems so much scarier than the bottom half.
Somewhat, yeah. Although I feel a lot of players in the bottom have a lot of potential (LosirA, CoCa, asd, Ryung, Happy), and are perhaps a little bit underrated. But I just don't see any of them winning the whole thing, whereas there are several players from the top that I think have strong chances of bringing it home.
Oh, and it's also nice to see the TLPD ELO a bit more back in order, Taeja being #1 was a bit comical.

Whoa I can't believe Polt lost two Killer of all protoss... TWICE! D:

He's like 14-3 now, and all 3, have been caused by Killer. SangHo fighting!

It seems like Polt threw those games. He neither punished the Nexus first build by Killer in the 2nd game nor expanded himself fast at all, because he didn't scout (seemingly on purpose to justify said terrible play, like he was worried about a 1-base). In the first game he never built ghosts. If Polt was still on Prime the games would have been different.

I kinda think the same , Polt played extremely strange . The BO's he played just strange stuff especially the one on Antiga i'm not even sure what he tried to do there.
I think the plan was to get both through , since Killer chose DRG he was very confident he would beat him and Polt then would beat DRG as well but after that failed i think it was decided before hand Killer would advance.

all three non terrans through :D
TvT is great but I can only take so much

How was Polt's play today? I haven't got a chance to watch the VODs yet and some PlayXP people are floating a rumor that there was something behind the door. (for at least 1 toss in RO16 or something like that)

(no scouting ?)

Only Ryung, if MVP is the one going to the finals, could give us a close serie imo. I hate him but in TvT he has no rival (except MVP) Problem is Ryung will most likely have Losira or coca to face. (in fact, he could have 2 team kills in a row : MMA, then Coca) and Ryung is only good in TvT.

Whoa group h is a freak accident.

is it just me or is killer the sole reason polt isnt 100%

Wow...4 Z's, 1 P, and 11 T's... Who else is aggravated by this number...

On September 29 2011 07:50 furerkip wrote: Wow...4 Z's, 1 P, and 11 T's... Who else is aggravated by this number... There are actually 5 zergs, 1 toss, and 10 terrans (not that it changes much I suppose). I think that all of the zergs can win their games, even though Leenock vs Ganzi is hard to call. This would make a 4 terran/ 4 zerg ro8 if Ganzi wins or 5 zerg 3 terran ro8 if Leenock wins.
Or I could be completely off with these predictions. Either way, it's still a sad Code S to be a protoss fan.
On a side note, I was quite surprised that Taeja and TOP were the players getting last in their groups. I agree with Artosis, there are a handful of other terrans I'd rather see in the up and downs/ potentially knocked down to Code A than TOP and Taeja. Hoping to see them have no problem in the up and down matches.

MMA can challenge MVP as well. He beat MVP 3-2 in champion bracket of the Geforce tournament and will face him again tomorrow in the finals.
Ryung is not only good in TvT, he's pretty decent in TvZ. He has beaten some solid zergs like Revival, Check, Zenio, and Stephano. Lost 3-2 to July and 2-1 to Leenock. Losira and Coca aren't exactly the greatest at ZvT either.

It did bother me, but then I got over it and realized the only thing to do is wait until HOTS comes out. The thing that continues to bother me though is that there's so much TvT #-_-.
It's more fun than BW, which was literally just artillery lines, and then someone gets wraiths and then the other person starts getting a bunch of gols, etc. etc. but still dull, especially when there's so much of it .

This is awesome.
Also, every non-Terran advanced today! ^_^
Hard to not learn ZvT when you join slayers
Tell that to Alicia. ...well i guess i mean his vs T isn't that great despite having terrans on his team. Then again Slayers players don't seem as scary vs Toss.
Infact just disregard my comment.

It's actually 10 Terrans 5 Zergs and 1 Protoss. Considering we started with 20 Terrans 7 Zergs and 5 Protoss.
The end number seems relatively normal.
50% of the Terrans advanced
71.4% of the Zergs advanced
20% of the Protoss advanced.
Seems relatively normal for a GSL season.

As said previously, it's 5 zergs and 10 Terrans.
But really, you shouldn't have expected less than 10 Terrans, given that there were 20 Terrans to begin with. The thing to get aggravated at would be the initial number, not the number that have got through to the ro16.
Zergs are the ones that have done well so far this season.

It's 71.4% of Zergs advancing. You used his number.

Well, if he left Prime because of differences in philosophy, I can't imagine about how this "throw the game and let the captain advance" is can be an improvement, unless Prime's philosophy was THAT BAD.
Killer rocks. And I don't understand why people are suprised at Coca's result. Look at his recent record!
EDIT: Anyway, thinking that Polt gave away the games is kind of disrespectful to Killer, and maybe even to Protoss indirectly.
