I don't think thats really the point, MC is the most successful protoss in sc2. He's just not the best anymore, like jinro said you can't judge solely on results. also like some other guy said a few posts back, even if real madrid holds the record for most champions leagues won, barcelona is currently the best team in the world. | ||

It was the risk factor, especially with the expensive units Protoss drops (aside from Zealots) the risk wasn't worth the reward because of how flimsy they were. Remember with little shields once they take hull damage they're permanently weakened. The new patch gives enough leeway to make the risk/reward ratio better. | ||

Game against Zerg was sort like like what Bisu did for Brood War. He's busts out onto the scene and tells all the Protoss that they aren't playing the matchup right and then does stuff with DTs. | ||

MC was flat out the best player in the world for a several months and was the best Protoss in the world for basically the entire duration of Sc2. | ||
