He's peak was top 8 in the GSL, but I wouldn't consider every player who was top 8 in the GSL as one of the top 8 players in the world, at the time.

I keep seeing all of these games where it looks like protoss is winning then suddenly terran wins in one engagement because of EMP. I just feel bad for protoss, so I'm rooting for Hero to take this. it's in this sort of circumstances that TRUE heroes (pun not intended) are born. If a Protoss can take this is spite of the metagame, it'll be so so awesome

God forbid that the EG players lose 1 Bo3. Against fantastic competition. That would be so embarrassing for EG! It isn't one bo3. The past 3 tournament invites, Huk has underperformed a lot, dropping out in the first stage in all 3 of his tournament invites. I would not be surprised if most of the invitational tourneys stopped inviting huk due to these performances. Some people blame it on jetlag, some on flying too much, some on not enough practice, but at the end of the day he isn't performing. As for idra....trimaster is enough. At the same time though Huk made Ro8 in Code S, and was the highest placing foreigner at MLG. Idra is in a slump, but he has done a lot of good overall during his time with EG and is still one of the top players in NA. You can't do well everywhere. Especially not in invitational, where the competition is usually insane. Point being, Idra and Huk are solid players, and anyone can have a bad streak. They are not the best foreigners in the world right now, but it's kind of unrealistic to expect them to constantly be that.
