God forbid that the EG players lose 1 Bo3.

Against fantastic competition. That would be so embarrassing for EG!

It isn't one bo3. The past 3 tournament invites, Huk has underperformed a lot, dropping out in the first stage in all 3 of his tournament invites. I would not be surprised if most of the invitational tourneys stopped inviting huk due to these performances.

As for idra....trimaster is enough.

So you lose one match when you're favoured you suck?
Okay guys checkPrime>>>>> MC cus checkprime beat MC in the up and down okay?

Thanks for letting me know that past 3 tournaments invites =1 match.

hey hey, no negativisms in this thread!

but yeah, I don't think IdrA is anywhere near the top of the world. But maybe he can take off his rage cap and show good games against HerO.

But if you have seen HerO play PvZ you wouldn't expect him to. Warp Prisms with Chargelots, DTs and great control. He never gives up and plays great from behind. I sometimes rage just from watching him pick apart Zergs.

Serious question, does Naniwa have aspergers or something? He seems to speak really weirdly to people and he's just a little bit 'off' in interviews with his responses. Not dissing him he's just really strange.

Hope he smashes either way

1. spain
2. spanish player
3. ???
4. STARCRAFT

spanish player invited to a single elim tourney. Sorry I don't know all the details but it seems like a single elim with special invites should be "special" and I mean excellent players or ones who've done well at dream hack before. I dunno.. someone like MC maybe?

what the hell is your problem pro? if there would be a Dreamhack NYC you would want someone from the US in there as well. geeeeeez people these days.

no, I would want the best players.

I said "Sorry I don't know all the details," because it's true, I didn't know that inviting locals was dreamhacks thing. Thanks for being so cool about it.

seems like the metagame is in favour of terran at the moment. lots of insanely dangerous timing pushes -- the infamous 1/1/1 , thor rushes, ghost timing push.. cant wait to see the protoss race metagame evolve to respond to this. currently, protoss players only seem to rely on good scouting and micro-control (stalkers kiting the marines/SCV during a timing attack)

kinda felt bad for HuK there.. he really needed a cigarette after game 2.

What makes you so sure there is a proper response? I remain unconvinced :/.

Because every race undergoes periods of weakness, and someone always finds a way. Don't blame it on balance, just leave it be, this brings out some of the most creative strategies we see in Starcraft

The "period of weakness" is basically at an unprecedented level in SC2, I really hate the cliche response to just innovate and crap as if it's impossible that there is actually an issue that needs to be fixed.

Thorzain pretty much won all 3 games.

The better player won.

No he didn't. He won 2 games where he outplayed HuK. He lost 1 game where huk outplayed him. Get real.

Actually i wouldnt say Huk outplayed Thorzain in the second match. Thorzain would probably have won the match if the turet was positioned a bit better and the DTs couldnt slip in the main. Huk did a risky move, probably the only thing that could have brought him back, and Thorzain fucked up a little bit so there was some luck involved. Its not like T didnt saw it comming.

so who played better?...
Ganzi beat me without stim. Ostojiy beat me with a nydus. Siphonn beat me with probes. Revival beat my sentry-immortal all-in.
