I had to watch Dreamhack on 480p, and I almost never have to lower my stream's resolution x.x Regardless, I loved the tournament. Great players, great casters, great performance overall ![]()

Hopefully next Dreamhack is hosted at a more MLG-sized place. Well, these invitationals are more to promote their brand really. This is the first dreamhack event outside of Sweden so I doubt they could afford a big arena. The dreamhack invitational series will probably go around to different places around Europe and promote esports and dreamhack. Dreamhack Winter however is a different story, that's their main event of the year (bigger than Dreamhack Summer usually), and will take place in an enormous area and the finals will be held in the Dreamarena (big enough compared to any MLG so far at least).

Would americans actually react if someone underage had a sip of champagne? I was about to ask myself if DRG was 21, but then I realized this was in Europe lol If it was broadcast on national TV, yes. when the canadian women's hockey team won gold at the vancouver olympics, they hung out on the ice drinking beer and smoking cigars to celebrate, and one of the players (who also happened to score both goals that game I think) was underaged, so the media stirred up a huge fuss. so yeah, people love fussing over nothing I remember this, was pathetic... and her drinking wasn't even on tv, the idea that people raise a stink about under age kids drinking is kind of hilarious when you think about how many kids actually drink... Anyway Congratz to DRG insane mutalisk control displayed in every game! Nice try Thorzain, clearly practicing with Slayers team has helped you a shit ton can't wait to see more of him in the future!

I was about to ask myself if DRG was 21, but then I realized this was in Europe lol Its a crime to provide alcohol to anyone not of the legal drinking age. In some states its also a felony. To do it in on TV (or livestream) would be quite bad. I got to taste beer when I was in kindergarten Most kids did. And 99.99% of them don't like it, which keeps them off of alcohol for at least a decade or so. Not the point. The point is, it's just champagne. In basically every part of the world, champagne is used for celebrating. I highly doubt anyone -- even if this took place in America -- is going to get in trouble for giving the winner of $15,000 a sip of alcohol.

They deserve a financial boost for performing in a tournament. Umm, what are sponsors for? Don't worry about the player's income guys. They're doing just fine. Not only that, Dreamhack pampers the players like mad(Day9 and Idra said so). It's basically a free vacation for being good enough to get invited and if they don't want it, the next person on the list will easily accept it.

Korean laws and Spanish laws. So, all this pointless fuss is even more pointless.
