Holy shit, DongRaeGu's build and execution is literally perfect. I want to see this replay.

He held off the blue flame followup easily with his spire complete and 1.2k minerals/1k gas and his third base came up at the same time. That's such an immaculate build.

Because he's playing against a player on his home turf. Have you ever been to a sport game? The audience will always be biased towards their home team.

Not a fan of Spanish audience because they root with their spanish player? LOL

I do understand all of that, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. The reason why the MLG crowds are so awesome is because they cheer for all of the players a lot, including the Koreans. I get that that they favor their local player, but booing seems unnecessary.

That 2GD guy is a fucking idiot. This is terribly unprofessional in a tournament with thousands of dollars of sponsorship money at stake. This might be funny to the basement lurker but to anybody with any business sense, 2GD should not return for the next tournament. If I were a sponsor and saw that kind of unprofessionalism, I would have him shitcanned before the end of the game.

Edit: Not meant to be a caster bash, but a take on his lack of professionalism.

pretty sure the organizers have more business sense related to this tourney than you do and decided to hire him despite a history of doing exactly what you are whining about right now. in fact, i would wager it is exactly why they hired him. god forbid someone have personality at a starcraft tourney.

DRG opens hatch first and Lucifron has a pretty vicious 2rax on the lowground at his natural. DRG needs to respond perfectly because two bunkers are going up and marines are streaming across the map.

4:45
Lucy can't stand up to the Korean ZvT Menace. DRG cleans it up with minimal losses and is counter attacking with 8 zerglings.

5:45
Lucifron walls off quick with a 3rd barracks and prevents zerglings from entering the natural and bringing ruination to Lucifrons fast expo. DRG takes all of his gasses at once and is up 10 supply.

7:30
Zergling speed starts around the same time as Lair. DRG with 4 slightly fast gasses considering the opening looks to be going a very heavy gas unit composition (muta or infestors).

Blue flames cooking for Luci who has been streaming workers out of his OCs.

11:30
Blue flames do not so much and mutalisks are being pumped out. A marine tank timing is heading for DRG and only 2 banelings are out on the map and Luci has already touched creep.

However 13 mutalisks are out..

Actually I expected Thorzain to beat Huk. He's looked solid for a while now and korean training can only make him better, plus considering the state of TvP it seemed like a probable outcome.
