When it was clear his very first attack could be game ending Huk should have backed off, maybe gone and killed and gold instead. I wanted to see something truly amazing between these two. Given the format and that Nestea didn't opt to punish nexus first he probably would have let Huk get away with making a mothership. We could have had dt harass into mass recall then turn the dt's into archons then attack with everything including probes.
I'm a big fan of Huk and of Nestea, I didn't care who won that match but I wanted it to be interesting not a one sided slaughter.
I wonder if Jinro understood that they were teasing him, well i mean it was all in korean. But then again, jinro has been learning korean slowly iirc?

Im sure he knew they were teasing, but that should still be enough to motivate a player of Jinro's caliber. I mean they were joking about trading him because FD wanted to be with the "winners."

Yeah, Dommk, you were definitely wrong. Only 5 gates were made, and MKP had 38 probes. Wolf even said it was a 5 gate right as MKP was moving into MMA's natural.

Same. May not have been the best player to dominate over (FD, who's kindda nowhere these days), but the first step in reclaiming his former glory. I hope he comes back stronger than ever.

6/5 Gates can vary, check out HongUn, he does it all the time. Some people do 6gates and let their minerals float, others build 5 gates, it is just preference
The didn't make Probes for the duration of the entire all-in, he only started making AFTER he backed out, at the point where he already won the game (30+ supply to 3marines and a Ghost)
And if you can't make make probes whilst microing a 5/6 gate them you are a horrible player, at points you have to warp in units, it quite literally takes less than a second to hit your Nexus hotkey and build a probe

Yep Mma was pretty much dead a few minutes earlier but gg's at 22:22. That's what a showmatch should be like, in jokes and fun ^-^. I mean after the first attack that mkp backed off with he was like " I'll be back in two minutes" and mma wanted to kill two probes in his first attack. It was silly and i think half of what got mkp the mvp award, he didn't play nearly as impressively as losira or huk or boxer but he really made watching his match vs mma fun.

When I checked he had 37 Probes, guess he must have lost the one he sent in to build the Pylon. But 38 Probes is the "all-in" version of a 2baes build for Protoss.
Just enough Probes to mine from 2 bases and efficiently from both mineral patches, no more no less. 16 Probes on minerals each base, 6 on gas
5gates or 6gates is just personal preference. Some like 6, others do 5, it all just depends on how much resources you want to let build up
