He scouted the spire but couldn't put pressure on because of the failed cannon rush. That rush let Nerchio get the fast 3rd for gas and prevented him from doing any early pressure. Nerchio was then able to expand a TON while keeping pressure on. The only thing he failed to scout was the burrowed banes.
