But it has to be said, that wasn't all Socke, Dimaga just played not very good here. The stress with WCG-Ukraine at the same time probably got to him, and his ZvP is historially not his best matchup either.

Why the hell do you call him a bad player?! On September 10 2011 23:10 FilthyLucre wrote: Mb i missed it, but why is Idra not in? O_o He didn't reach the necessary gg quota in August.

WP by Socke though, maybe people will stop underrating him once he takes his second SCI in a row.

Maybe they miss the days when all PvZs were "eeji win" for MC. It's because the winning percentages in PvZ are even worse than in PvT

Didn't he finish in Top4 at IEM Cologne? Sure, he got 3-0d by PuMa, but the exact same thing happened to MC in the finals.

Game 1 and 3 were timing attacks which often have a follow up, unless they get shut down completely. I have seen him transitioning out of that 7 gate on the same map before. Game 2 surely was a little bit cheesier, but then again, this is a Bo5 and if you just drone-up three times in a row and rush to higher tech units, well, you just saw what happens then. Protoss are SUPPOSED to do timing attacks because of chrono boost. People just like to piss and moan if it's not a 45 minute game.

Indeed, btw any form of protoss early aggression is all-innish in nature, a protoss army can't really escape from a battle and a protoss can't really rebuild as fast as T or Z can (on 2 bases). Btw atm a protoss can't stay passive against a zerg, in the end is the metagame shift everyone is talking about. Well played by Socke.
