He shoulda just made more bunkers and target fired the void rays on his first push. He was already in siege range of the nexus. Just went too far in and got ff'd.

Stop being dumb The problem is that this build from Genius would die horribly to a bio build and there is no reliable way to spot the difference. This, Genius went stargate without seeing anything at all - it was a pure blind counter. If it was a 2~3 rax play, he would have died 5 minutes into the game. He purely got lucky that terrans over abuse 1/1/1 nowadays.

Unless you mean you hold it by 3gate stargate all-in into immediate nexus before the "allin" gets to the T base. then defend the incoming late 1-1-1 by doing what he did. Why does every time someone defends 1/1/1, someone comes out and say "That was not a proper 1/1/1" or "T messed it up", etc., instead of seeing what P had done differently to hold it? And then turns around and say how many different variety of 1/1/1s there are. I know it's difficult to hold but don't discount the valiant and smart effort by Genius. It was an exhilarating play.
