I just mean on his path to the Code A finals this season. His path to second place glory wasn't with very exceptional play. His opponents looked like they were helping him fulfill his destiny.

I'm pretty sure that Polt will rape everyone that wanna mech against him in the future patch. Blue flame openings will not be as strong, and defend the potential counter attack will be harder, and now you'll probably have to be as good as the bio player to win with mech. MVP vs MMA, mech vs full bio pretty much every game. MVP didnt do much of this "risky blue flame" stuff, straight up killed MMA. Mech will continue to get refined and bio will be the inferior style for the most part (there are some maps that bio has a better chance such as Bel shir because that map lends itself to counters and base trading).

Come on ... Its not always about prize pool... Look at Code A as qualifiers to the Code S tourney. If the prize money was high for Code A then Code S wouldnt be as prestigious.

Yes tanks are the reason why mech is strong but hellions are the opening backbone of mech and now it's vulnerable to marine tank pushes... 3 hits per worker ok. But mech doesn't need to get ahead in workers to win vs the non mech player by virtue of having the more efficient army (hellion drops will still be plenty viable after the patch, one medivac of 4 hellions will still rip up scvs, specially when lined up as they frequently are).

Come on ... they cant throw big cash in Code A since entering Code S is an Auto cash of Code A champ even if dont win a single game so if code A winner get $5000 they have to prepare about minimum 8 x $5000 for Code S losers only thats a lot of sum imho

MKP is not moving ahead with the times unfortunately he got me into SC2 with his play in season 2 but he is slipping. lol, coming 2nd in Code A finals, going to game 7, is "slipping". Cool story.
