It's amazing how everybody just sees Ganzi is on slayers and just assumes he's the guy to beat when MKP has been solid and consistent every game so far. Also, MKP is quite the beast of a terran himself. Just because he gets crushed by MVP (who doesn't?) doesn't mean he's a bad TvTer. | ||

Ganzi beat MVP in Super Tournament and also almost took him out in MLG - was the person who was closest to doing it. Beat Taeja 3-0. MKP games vs Jjakji were very bad. MKP fell to Code A due to TvT. | ||

MKP has looked extremely sloppy and I'm surprised he made it here. Ganzi has looked much more solid. Ganzi is definitely playing better atm, which is why he is considered the favorite. | ||

It's because MarineKing has really struggled with TvT for quite some time. In his recent up/down, he was convingingly outplayed in every tvt he played against MvpDream, IMHappy and SlayerSRyung, and it's extended beyond that as well. Since Mech has become more popular, he's struggled to adapt to the ever changing tvt matchup. GanZi is in hot form and has always had a strong TvT with a mech style, which marineking struggles against. MarineKing certainly has the ability to win, but he'll have to play a lot better than he has lately. | ||

I just remember back in the open league MarineKing's amazing Marine micro against Zerg particularly against Banelings, which was so so awesome. Whenever I watch his games nowadays I always do so with the anticipation of seeing him pull off some new tricks. Still, I'll take your word, hopefully it'll be a great game! | ||
