The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:

1. Whining about stream
2. Bashing other games
3. Flaming other users
4. Bashing players
5. Complaining about imbalance

Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#)

I have a feeling it's gonna be Puma vs DRG for the winner's bracket finals (and Code S spot).

Coca and Bomber are really good, but in their weakest matchups I think they're gonna get rocked.
Don't hate the player, hate the game

Koreans own white dudes still tho... Puma/Coca/Bomber/DRG i guess was kind of expected. can't believe that slush/sjow are ahead of IdrA/Sheth/Trickseter

Honestly most games have been bad so you haven't missed much. Hope tomorrow's games are better.

even though his build felt "unique" it really only felt it was some kind of broodwar build he's trying to transfer to SC2

didn't feel new at all, doubt it really is viable, though it might be entertaining to watch sometimes

But Select has lost less games. So, he is ahead, not?

MLG system works fine. So far, 3 out of 3 (the 4th being TLO, yet to play vs DeMuslim) 6th place in pool beat their opponent coming from the open loser's bracket. They hvea played important games with 100% focus for 8 straight hours two days in a row, try it and see how well it goes, this proves even mroe how stupid the system is.

No. DRG beat him, as simple as that. It's like that in every sport.

That didn't really feel like a Tyler style game. He's known for his really safe, conservative play, even when he looses. That just felt reliant on Haypro not knowing a response, not actually outplaying him even if Tyler won.
Shame, I want BW Tyler back...
I didn't even watch BW. Bleh.

I hope this MLG is enough to knock some people out of pool play, about 4 people who 100% don't deserve a spot

No, matches decide placing. Ties are decided by head to head then by game win/loss record.

SC2 in played in matches. match record is what's most important. game record is only used as a tie breaker between players with identical match records. and head to head is mutch more important than game record which makes sense,

p.s. actually game record is used only in case of 3 way tiebreakers and following who's where in a pool before everyon's played every match.

You just described the exact reason why people think MLG's system sucks.

People from open bracket can't beat people from pool play, what's the problem?

You can really tell how tired the player coming from the open bracket are, i really hope they change the poor system this tournament has.. Seeing some crap players forever stuck in those pools.

I think that the amount of games the players from the open bracket play adds a lot of drama. The point of having a large, live, tournament is to watch the players play a lot of games. GSL is the tourney to watch If you want to watch pre-prepared games of players in top condition. But that's also a reason why a lot of GSL games (including the finals) are so one sided.

May the player with the best stamina and instinctual play win.

My only issue with MLG's format is that the bottom players in the pool play should really drop further and more players should be allowed to come through the open bracket.

I don't think they'll help too much if at all with the 1-1-1 although the immortal range buff is nice i guess but they're good changes for the other stuff/match ups.
