The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:

1. Whining about stream
2. Bashing other games
3. Flaming other users
4. Bashing players
5. Complaining about imbalance

Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#)

The fuck?

He pulled 7 drones, how is that greedy

Zerg is not allowed to 15 hatch on cross shakuras now because it's geedy?

Was he supposed to fight into those 3 marines with the drones and lose them all?

Hatch first openings is a greedy build.

When half of the TL readers knew what was coming before game 3 started should have been a sign to open 14 pool.

Hatch first is not a greedy build. It's standard and keeps you even.

Its this stupid mentality that loses IdrA games.. Noblesse committed a lot of economy to that rush, IdrA would have been far ahead with a pool first still. It's 2 rax map, IdrA should have expected it.

Idra is stupid for not blind countering it then? That's basically what you're saying.

I'm saying he wouldn't be behind if he played safer. And should have expected it. Doesn't matter what noblesse did, its better to play safe.

I don't see why Zergs need to FE to "keep even" with the non-Zerg opponent. That just doesn't sound right to me. Get your pool first, get a queen earlier if you'd like (hey more larvae!), and get the hatchery down a minute or two later with the knowledge that you can't lose 5 minutes into the game.

Also Nestea fought like hell to try and win still, until he had like 5 drones left tried loads of stuff to try and break out, idra would have just GGed instantly

Nada's TvP is painful to watch, but otherwise he's really solid.

Nada, ro16 Code S.

Ret, won Eu Blizz Invitational.

code S > any eu tournament without koreans.

ur basing ur decision off of isolated shit tho man, gotta focus on their ingame skill rather than results(even tho i do agree results are extremly important aswell)

the way ur supposed to deduct how a player is better than another is by how they play, dont take the results into consideration(as hard and stupid as that might sound)

I think Nada's TvZ is better than Ret's ZvT. I think Nada's best matchup is better than Ret's best matchup. I think Nada's TvP is bad .

and how do you that? results, it's easy you just look at them and compare to others, "how to play" is completely subjective.

No, for cutting corners and playing very risky very early. That's asking to get punished.

The thing that kills me about Idra is that he doesn't look like he gives a shit.

In football (soccer to some), there is a saying that "you don't shoot, you don't score", or that you need to "work the keeper". In essence, what that means is that you have to give every opportunity you can for your opponent to make a mistake. Idra believes that as soon as he is even slightly behind, his opponent will play perfectly and win. That just isn't the case. It's especially ridiculous because the concept of playing 'perfectly' in SC2 is a nonsense.

It WOULD be fun to see a football team not come out for the 2nd half because they were down 0-1 though, saving their strength for the next game instead. Obviously the other team is going to play perfect defence and not allow them any chances to score.

As a footballing aside, sometimes that happens, but if you're talking about Manchester United (arguably the second best football team in the world), what you actually see is a seige of the goal line. People like watching that. It's fun to see.

I usually am happy to see United go a goal down because the result is usually the best attacking play in the world, and it's bred into every United player. They play like that because they are trained to do it. They are hyper-competitive, even in 5-a-side practice matches and they WANT to win.

In 15 years of watching them play, I think I've seen them give up on a game 4 times. Twice was versus Barcelona. Once vs Liverpool. Once vs Bolton, oddly enough. They never give up, even if they're 3 goals down.

Wanting to win is key to competing.

I'm a huge Idra fan but there's nothing cowardly about doing that. It's a really common opening that Idra should have been able to deal with.

actually watch sheth vs select blizz invitational.

same map
same 3 bunkers
same marine push

sheth loses hatch

wins game

Idra has convinced everyone on the forums and himself that if you lose the hatchery you cant come back and win

You cant unless your opponent is terrible, Noblesse is not terrible

You absolutely can come back after losing your hatchery, Losira has shown that he stops 2x bunker rush by waiting for an overwhelming amount of lings, preferably with speed, and then crushes it. If he deems it necessary to lose the hatch he will, as long as he kills every marine/scv with good efficiency he is not in a bad position.

Nestea vs Top on Bel'shir beach. Nestea lost the hatchery came back and won that game later. Also Leenock against some terran on Crossfire, lost the hatchery and came back and won the game.
