The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:
1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance
Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#) |

This is just getting silly and way out of hand. What are they doing inside that house anyway? Yeah because practice time always means results? It doesn't, sometimes you play bad, sometimes you are jet lagged, sometimes your mindset is off. How does one set actually prove anything about a player overall. It doesn't. Arizona house hasn't even been up long enough to start producing results...I can say the same thing for Naniwa, he hasn't been in Korea long enough for his play-style to balance out and for him to feel good in the position he is in. Everyone in this thread has to step back and just realize that it isn't as simple as person A beats person B in a Bo3 so Person A is so much better and the other person is trash. Any given Sunday, (Saturday actually). yeah...but not one can possibly deny that Idra's skills have deteriorated considerably since leaving Korea. He was strong as soon as he came back and has gotten worse and worse. Now, I don't think many people would have him in the top 10 of foreigners at this point.
It comes down to his mindset and less about skill, he throws away games because of it all the time. I'd pick IdrA 9/10 in a 30 minute macro game to win over even some of the top Koreans with this shitty mindset, he just has a personal hump to get over.

Hatch first openings is a greedy build. When half of the TL readers knew what was coming before game 3 started should have been a sign to open 14 pool. Hatch first is not a greedy build. It's standard and keeps you even. Its this stupid mentality that loses IdrA games.. Noblesse committed a lot of economy to that rush, IdrA would have been far ahead with a pool first still. It's 2 rax map, IdrA should have expected it. Idra is stupid for not blind countering it then? That's basically what you're saying.
He saw it coming. Countering something you see coming isn't blind counter. He scouted 2 rax (12/12) and he saw 3 scvs coming. Judging by the map shakuras and it being highly common to do this on shakuras he has every single piece of Intel he needed to counter it. Really pathetic how people have no idea what scouting is.

Yes that's what we are doing. U belong to the same group with Idra.

Nada, ro16 Code S. Ret, won Eu Blizz Invitational. code S > any eu tournament without koreans.
ur basing ur decision off of isolated shit tho man, gotta focus on their ingame skill rather than results(even tho i do agree results are extremly important aswell)
the way ur supposed to deduct how a player is better than another is by how they play, dont take the results into consideration(as hard and stupid as that might sound)

I'd say they are pretty close to even in straight up skill, but I feel nada is more... solid/consistent.

Nada...for now. So unconvincing lately, but still good enough to be considered all round stronger than Ret. u sure? from wat i saw yesterday id give ret a 60-40 edge(skillwise)
na man, ret would be knocked into code a immediately if he was in Code S. Nada places 16-8 consistently, he just struggles vs P because of his dated style. There are very few Koreans in Code S that aren't better than every foreigner in the world.

whats stupid is Idra doesn't attempt to make a comeback. That bunker rush was by no means an un-winnable situation, and other players have come back from similar encounters. Idra just sees an early deficit as un-winnable. Considering this was the last game in the series he should have at leat tried to make a come back.
