The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:
1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance
Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#) |

I dont really enjoy TvZ any more just because of the constant T bunker crap.
So game 3 ends with Idra doing a mistake and losing to bunkers. Game 1 ends with Noblesse doing a mistake and getting fungalled. Both games "ended" with one step out of place. These things happen. It's not too strong it's just right. If everything was toothless there would be zero point in watching or playing this game.

Maybe because people saw Sheth beat Select when he was in the same position as Idra was in?

You wouldnt see any other zerg player leave game 2 that early, only Idra.. he should really see a mental coach.

This is just getting silly and way out of hand. What are they doing inside that house anyway? Benching 200.
it was 205 actually.

Built spine crawler as soon as the hatch finished, made lings as soon as he could, pulled drones before the SCV's even got there.... How do you even stop that rush? Seeing people win like that sucks.
Maybe he's just getting a lot of flack because of game 2, but it seems unwarranted. That roach rush can just kill someone who makes a lot of hellions.
You can defend it without GG'ing after the first bunker finish. Search MorroW vs Select on Shakuras from the Shoutcraft invitational 2. Morrow defended it, even, with all 3 bunker getting up.

How can you say Noblesse outmacroed IdrA when he had 60-70 scvs for 2 patches of mineral in the main and 3-4 mineral patches in the gold. A bit of common sense please.
was at the same supply with idra the entire game? his minerals and gas were in double digits while idra floated over a 1000 with his macro hatch not even hotkeyed?

No. He is not yes he is =], how many times have we gone throught this? dont base ur player assesments off of fucking small samples, look at their overall gameplay(from several games) then make ur judgment off of that Based on his play and results off the last 6 months. Not several games. His play is alright, mindset awful. Sen, nerchio, stephano all so much better atm. Also Idra has never won a tournament that isn't pure NA. he isn't the best foreign zerg not by a long shot. So him beating Liquid Sheth (someone omst people consider pretty top, even better than Ret) in the finals of a major tournament a couple weeks ago means Sheth is also terrible or what? Has Sen won IPL or MLG or anything similar? Nerchio? Stephano? I mean, they each individually have consistent small results, but people talk about GSL as the Holy Grail because of its size and talent pool, thus I think larger tournaments count for more. Personally I think Sheth = IdrA in skill and both are pretty tip top of foreigners. Idra won IPL and MLG with pure NA players. Now that there are EU and KR he can't compete. Sen always beats Idra head to head, he's a much better player.

I'm a platinum league Zerg player, and I am mild to moderately confident I could take a series off Idra. I mean, it MIGHT be 2-1, but I would still take the series.

I can't see anyone defending that. I'm a huge Idra fan but there's nothing cowardly about doing that. It's a really common opening that Idra should have been able to deal with. actually watch sheth vs select blizz invitational. same map same 3 bunkers same marine push sheth loses hatch wins game i wanted to mention that game but u did before me ^^ Idra sucks, thats it. Just look at Seth's way to handle that push, its an other level of play. You mean another level where he almost never finishes as well as idra at MLG?

He pulled 7 drones, how is that greedy Zerg is not allowed to 15 hatch on cross shakuras now because it's geedy? Was he supposed to fight into those 3 marines with the drones and lose them all? Hatch first openings is a greedy build. When half of the TL readers knew what was coming before game 3 started should have been a sign to open 14 pool. Hatch first is not a greedy build. It's standard and keeps you even. Yeah, what was greedy was the 16 pool.

I'd put it differently, but what it shows is that people training within EG aren't doing well, the people who are "on" EG but without the EG training do well. It's the Liquid/OGS house and Korea, not that they have "EG" in front of their name.

They really should get something done to kill these long gaps, even something as simple as pre-recorded interviews, having someone walk around backstage with a camera just checking out what the players are doing or a highlight reel from other mlgs during the season would be better than just watching people sitting there.
