Format:
Swiss Rounds on Saturday(4 rounds)
Single Elimination RO32 on Sunday

How Swiss Rounds work:
+ Show Spoiler +
The first round is either drawn at random or seeded according to some prior order, such as rating or last year's performance. Players who win receive 3 points, those who draw receive 1 point and players that lose receive no points. Win, lose, or draw, all players proceed to the next round where winners are pitted against winners, losers are pitted against losers, and so on. In subsequent rounds, players face opponents with the same (or almost the same) score. No player is paired up against the same opponent twice however.

When and Where:
Swiss Round play starts on Saturday, Sep 03 12:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00).
Single Elimination play starts on Sunday, Sep 04 12:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00).
The tournament will run via the European Battle.net server.

Prizes: R 8 000.00 (~$1120)
- Winner: R 2 800.00 (~$413)
- 2nd: R 1 800.00 (~$265)
- 3rd: R 1 100.00 (~$162)
- 4th: R 700.00 (~$103)
- 5th-8th: R 400.00 (~$59)

Open to all players on European Battle.net server.

We have had some more international confirmations! ESCGoOdy will once again be competing and will be attempting to defend his title! dKiLLeR has also entered, bringing our second dignitas entry after sjow competed a few months back. Not to forget, RGNSpades will be around to challenge for the prize money at stake!

1 week left for registration, make sure to sign up soon!

Where do you guys watch all the goody games? :-/
I switched the tournament because the first game shown on the official stream involved a platinum player and in the second game they spend the entire cast saying what a beat haypro is...
the esl stream seems down, at least whenever I click on it, it only shows a screenshot of justin.tv.

edit: oha, IMFenix game coming up. :D
wait... since when is Fenix a zerg...?
ah... that's RGN.Phoenix... nvm, my mistake.

No worries, I was kidding ^^

Swiss round results : http://polarfluke.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=271:polarfluke-spring-ling-swiss-rounds&catid=5:starcraft-2&Itemid=27

There's a recap table below the indivual results. Dejmien, Haypro, Phoenix, Goody (resident winner of this tournament), ReaL and Bischu are undefeated.

I dont think Goody will be taking this one. I think SjoW or maybe Haypro have really strong chances. Also Bischu can maybe surprise.

oh my, potential goody vs bischu incomming in the ro16! and assuming haypro wins his ro16 game, he will play the winner of the potential goody vs bischu in the ro8. And somehwere in the next round, Sjow might come and join the party.
I must say, all the well-known players are concentrated in the bottom half of the bracket. :o

My fault

The upper half are only south-Africans and the lower half are internationals. That is why.
