Polt beats MMA in TvT, and has the world's best TvP. That is two match ups he is better than MMA at. I haven't seen his TvZ, but it should still be enough to be considered the "overall" better player. | ||

So please enlighten us how Polt won game 1 today vs MMA where Polt went Marine heavy. Polt won game 1. And by marine heavy you mean where Polt 1/1/1'd him? :D | ||

What determines skill is really on the fly decision making etc. Macroing up is not skill...it's hard at the beginning but now everybody should be able to macro well | ||

For example, I disagree with your point about game one, because Polt had a far stronger army to begin with when he attacked, while MMA had a couple Banshees at Polt's base. You can't oversimplify it to "simultaneous control" when the units that they're controlling aren't the same. I didn't take anything away from Polt other than your statement that he has better multitasking. Those games showed me that he has better timings and gamesense. But multitasking? Sometimes, certain strengths win a game, and that doesn't mean you can just exaggerate the strengths that weren't as prevalent in the win (obviously, multitasking did help Polt win. What I meant is that you can't just exaggerate Polt's multitasking to be superior to MMA's when he won not mainly on his multitasking, but rather, on his timings and game sense which allowed him to attack with a superior composition at critical moments). | ||
