They are playing on a convention which closes at approximately 8pm,take a guess why they start playing in the morning (with quite a stacked schedule for both stages).

There has but the problem with LoL at high lvls of play like this is that if you have a high kill advantage to the other team the game is often pretty much over because a good team will pretty much never drop the lead they have.
Also the reason why the score is so low its because its very hard to kill someone that plays really defensive and has excellent teamwork.
There are games with a lot of kills from both side but those games are pretty often what you would call a slug fest and not at the highest lvl if you ask me.

this is played at a convention ... its to get people watching that are there ... the convention closes each day at like 6pm I think ... so they would play with an empty hall

I mean, I can understand you like to play it, but I can't see the fun in watching it, at all.
It's not moba games in general because I liked to watch DotA old school, is it really just that you have to play it a lot to like it?

They can't know exacty how long will some games take, they can't do anything about it and they have only one main stage.
As for the time, there's a restream after they are done with each day.
