Just curious, how were players seeded into these qualifiers? Not trying to be rude, but some sides of the bracket were MUCH more stacked than others.

Good question, is this randomized? Having Ryung, Sleep, and MMA all right next to each other seems odd, probably just coincidence though.

Nice work by Hero. Hoping for another chance for Sheth as well.

Thanks for being on the ball with updates and news IGN! I am very excited to see the whole event unfold.

They were seeded by their ladder points on their highest ranked ladder account.

Oh, well then that actually makes a pretty good amount of sense. Were all the ladder points taken at a screenshot time, or was it at the time the player registered?

Does participating in a qualifier (thus, becoming a "player") grant under 21 years of age access to the venue? My group wants to reserve our hotel room, buy our seats, etc, but we dont want to do it until we get full details that the ENTIRE group can attend.

If you are a player I can request access for under 21 year olds. The only people that can't attend are spectators that are under 21!

To be a player you have to be either: one of the 8 invitees, one of the 8 online qualifier winners, or one of the 256 live qualifier players.

Kinda disappointed for the 21+ age limit to attend. If the rest of the players that qualify/get invited are as good as the ones we know now, this is the kind of event I would travel for.

Will the event be streamed live in HD? Will there be a cost to view in HD?
Edit: Would also like to re-ask my question about the seeding. Were they seeded at the time of registration on a per-player type deal, or was a snapshot of ladder points taken after ALL registration?

I love you guys over at IPL, bringing a huge amount of quality content to us, from IPL S1, and S2, to the Team Arena, doing dual broadcasts for NA and EU, IPL TV giving viewers a chance to have really interesting games casted, and now a spectacular live event boasting a large prize pool, and huge incentives for the best of the best in these online qualifiers.

Also, big thanks to IGN for sponsoring ReIGN

Keep up the fantastic stuff

Wait...

So this weekend everyone was asking about the brackets and IGN said that they wouldn't be releasing any results but that the games would be casted during the week beginning on Wednesday. And now I come back to the thread on Monday night and find out that everyone knows the results?

edit: ic... so they were results were released anyway.

Holy crap, Hero beat Polt? Huge upset, considering Polt's skills in TvP. Amazing job, Hero!

Not like it matters where on the half of the bracket they're placed. (Assuming the two halves were equal)
