Starting tomorrow, Wednesday 17th, we will be having the very best in Starcraft at our booth in hall 9 to find out who can stay on top the longest. It's $1000 USD a game, $700 USD for the winner, $300 USD for the loser. Basic King of the Hill rules. Whoever managed to stay on top the longs, will receive another $1000 USD.
Timeslots as seen below. We will be hosting a livestream as usual but would like to invite everyone to join us at gamescom in Cologne, Germany, at booth C042 in hall 9, right next to the ESL. We've got a lot more in store for this week's entertainment as well as many prizes for all those who couldn't come (hint: facebook)

We're having some issues with the internet on site but working on it.
MC vs. Tarson is paused at 1:1 right now, we will pick that one up right after ESL and we should be in schedule for the rest of gamescom. Apologies for the delays!

If they do then one day he's gonna metagame them hard and they'll just have a super early engineering bay and random turret. I suspect he'll stop doing the stargate after forge fast expand build sometime soon and just forge fast expand, and every zerg will have associated his ffe with stargate play and try to blind counter it + they won't try to all-in because they know MC's typical voidray would stop it.

Apologies for the sound issues. We've been working on this on should be okay for tomorrow. MC won his second game, therefore taking home 1400 USD so far.
We will have VODs of these matches afterwards on sk-gaming.com
Also: Tomorrow 10AM CET: MC vs. Hausobs and whoever wins is going to play Kas later that day

Wow, that is a great initiative. I am not saying that players are not busy enough during their free time, especially because MC played his group matches today (whether they were easy for him or not). These kind of mini-events, if I may say so, are making all events so colourful. There is another level, between cold blooded competition and casual beer&have fun spectating that the players are alternating during events. A fun idea, props for making it happpen. Also, the prize is quite high. From what I undesrstand, every pro, that competes in this KOTH earns 300$. Not that bad, if anyone asks me

What is the reason for this KotH?
The coverage is very poor, and it will never have many viewers. Also there are no results/updates on the SK page.
I feel like SK should better spend the money on some weekly open tournaments, rather than offering MC/Puma 1400USD for two bo3 matches. SK will then get more attention from the community.

Hey there,
as for the VODs - I will be uploading these at the end of the event and we will be doing VODs of most of those matches.
As for the matches - he played both HasuObs and Kas and won both his games (we did stream both games though), next up is Stephano tomorrow at 2PM, and the stream should be fine by then (its really hard to get things under control with this kind of setup, I'm really sorry)

Pretty sure we can rely on the organizer who said MC won 2-0.
And I'm also guessing they did this primarily for the fans that are actually at gamescom and to get as many people to the SK booth as possible... for those wondering why the stream/coverage isn't the best online.

Kas won 2-1, on xel'naga caverns MC had pylon at Kas base which he didn't scout, second game Kas had hidden expo and then 3d game on metalopolis he did 1-1-1 all-in.
