It's not a 'hard counter' either, what tech you choose is still very important. How is it irrelevant? It's not like I'm struggling in low plat and throwing random factoids around or something. I have enough game experience to know that when going nexus first, you will have so many units after the 7-8 minute mark if unpunished that a 1/1/1 push is absolutely worthless. Some things are relevant regardless of the skill levels IMO. Personal experience might not apply, but this is a fact: 15 nexus must be punished, or replied to by strong macro. Not by a late timing.

And to people saying otherwise - a fast expo is the ONLY way to stop a 1-1-1. Otherwise you get contained and gg time. Imo his micro wasn't particularly good and he stilled rolled it pretty significantly. His zealots didn't even fight, they danced around in front of the SCVs for a long time while being killed before they engaged when there was almost none left.

I mean never mind 1/1/1 doesn't mean anything in the first place but how can it be 1/1/1 if there are 2 or 3 barracks. Yeah I guess it's just easier/faster to say that than marine/tank/banshee(/raven) all-in.
