Seriously.

Ive been saying this forever. Jetlag is never an excuse.

Adjust your goddam sleep schedule when you know months in advance what your doing. These pro's Im sure do it.

The player's body is his own responsibility. Why should GOM TV be responsible?

So how the fuck was Thorzain supposed to adjust his sleep schedule when he was in the EU invitational this past weekend?

Choose one or the other.

Sorry. His body.

Can't take it?

Too bad, get the fuck out. Excuses don't belong in competition. Imagine if your Yugioh? how is it fair your win is invalidated by an excuse.

I never even said jetlag is why he lost. But you can't deny the tolls it takes on ones body. Thorzain isn't in a position to just turn down the EU Blizzard invitational either. It sucks that they were so close together, but its silly not to factor jetlag into why Thorzain didn't play his best.

Apparently everyone beats Nestea on ladder. Biggest ego boost imaginable!

Not in Starjeweled, man.

If I could beat Nestea in Starjeweled I'd still feel pretty good about myself.

Yeah, it's why MC got out of foreigner tourneys.
Too bad his hubris got in his way lol...that group

He made some pretty cool cash doing it though.

Looks like we have a korean/foreigner period where you invest in yourself in Korea and withdraw in foreigner scene.

When you over withdraw, you head back to Korea to invest.

How can people say that Thorzain is OBVIOUSLY better than YugiOh after that? Seriously.

They are probably equal and each had their lucky breaks. Unlucky for Thorzain, I was hoping he'd win, but neither player really showed they deserved it. So stop with the YugiOh hate sheesh

Well to be fair in the 1st match Tzain looked really flawless while Yugi played pretty sloppily in all series

T-zain played sloppy the second 2 games too...what it came down to was Yugioh made less mistakes.

yeah.
Game One TZ played great turtlling. He always kept his units protected. tons of zergs and Banelings destroyed by siege tanks. late game was strong by TZ
Game Two= Didn't take out that gold base which put T_zain at a disadavantage in the beginning. Then didn't protect the siege tanks through the massive mutalisk harrassment
Game three= He needed to turtle again and line up the siege tanks, out of the way of mutalisk harrassment. but He didn't protect his siege tanks. Lost tons of units and structures in the main base.
He should have kept units like marines in the base and Thors as well.

I think He has potential to be a fine player. He needs to learn the art of war better. He could have easily won it with better strategy. How about borrowing the 1/1/1 strategy, while it last, until the next patches stops the strong build? Cmon man, you are carrying the world on your shoulders.

lessons he needs to learn

1. don't let zegs take that gold base
2. adopt other player's builds like the 1//1/1 all in
3. Protect Your siege tanks. ANd when at an economic disadvantage, turtle and keep a strong defense so you don't lose your workers or important structures. During mid-game.

A bit off topic, but North Korea has launched another attack on Yeonpyeong Island and South Korea's army is retaliating again.

SaSe just beat Sniper on ladder

and sC had a high winning record vs Nestea on the ladder. That's why he thought Nestea was overrated. Then he lost in a great series, but he was predicting an easy win. Ladder doesn't mean much if you dont use any of your good strats.

And don't forget Coca didn't take Nada seriously because Nada's bad on Ladder. Then when they actually played, Nada rolled Coca

Usually I'll cheer any zerg player over a foreigner but watching that was a little heartbreaking because Thorzain has such great potential and he is code S caliber for sure. At least zergs and tosses )hopefully) are moving on and not a bunch of terrans. I'm really hoping that Naniwa can take his series but he's pretty unconfident when it comes to pvz atm, I think Sase has better pvz.

GL to jinro though in the future, real fans stick with their players durings ups and downs, and you have many real fans.

Thorzain is nothing like Code S caliber.

then neither is HuK.

HuK is low-level S imo and has won recent tournaments, Thorzain is living almost entirely off his TSL hype.
