I think once Thorzain gets the hang of how its done in Korea, he will adapt and be one of the best. It's a whole other world man. Transitioning to the next level of play will take time...

Seriously.

Ive been saying this forever. Jetlag is never an excuse.

Adjust your goddam sleep schedule when you know months in advance what your doing. These pro's Im sure do it.

The player's body is his own responsibility. Why should GOM TV be responsible?

So how the fuck was Thorzain supposed to adjust his sleep schedule when he was in the EU invitational this past weekend?

Choose one or the other.

Sorry. His body.

Can't take it?

Too bad, get the fuck out. Excuses don't belong in competition. Imagine if your Yugioh? how is it fair your win is invalidated by an excuse.

Dude the Blizzcon tournament wasn't even in sight when he took the Code A Spot and there's no way he would decline a Spot in a tournament for a chance to go to Blizzcon. GSL was not THAT important compared . He didn't really plan to stay long time anyway for now .

Usually I'll cheer any zerg player over a foreigner but watching that was a little heartbreaking because Thorzain has such great potential and he is code S caliber for sure. At least zergs and tosses )hopefully) are moving on and not a bunch of terrans. I'm really hoping that Naniwa can take his series but he's pretty unconfident when it comes to pvz atm, I think Sase has better pvz.

GL to jinro though in the future, real fans stick with their players durings ups and downs, and you have many real fans.

Thorzain is nothing like Code S caliber.

then neither is HuK.

Current Gsl standings say otherwise.
whereas Huk is code S
and thorzain is code....B
Logic isnt for everbody.

Alright Sase, let's go!

Hopefully his love for putting on pressure with any units he has doesn't bite him again ><

Pretty fortunate draws for all our foreigners in r1 (bar Fenix), saw a bit of Sniper play and he's obviously good but didn't exactly look anything special.

Can someone tell me a bit about Sase?

Aside from the fact he's one of the endless legion of awesome Swedish SC2 players.

Started playing this year I believe. Has won a few online tournaments in Europe. Went like 10-0 at Dreamhack, 6-0 at Home Story Cup group stages. Very good micro. Macro used to be bad, but he's made big improvements there the last few months. Generally very aggresive style. Probably the 3rd best foreign Protoss after Huk and Nani.

Actually, Jetlag is only one of the reasons. Thorzain didn't have much time to prepare for Yugioh, hes been on tourney nonstop for the last week. Yugioh on the other hand have nothing to do but study Thorzain's style.
Go easy on him plz, you are being too aggressive for nothing here.

Oh I never said it was fair. But. That's how it goes. Gotta choose one or the other man.

Netizens over at PlayXP are not very impressed with T-zain.

Too much to ask for some sumamries for each of our foreign heroes as they come up?

General feeling is that he got a little lucky with game 1, and yugioh just not reacting right to that style. Tzain had very little AA at his natural and 3rd and they think it definitely should've been harassed with mutas. Game 2 & 3, they're just mildy disappointed with his overall game management. I think they were expecting more since he's touted as a top non-korean terran. Some are wishing him and fenix a nice month of sightseeing in korea :D

Well seeing as none of the new foreigners actually had stated goal of winning code A and all just said they wanted to practice in Korea sightseeing would be bad use of that time.

GSL player cannot have "the worst matchup".
Yet 99% of the players have one. ^____^

It's impossible to not have a "worst matchup" unless you managed a perfect 3 way tie in your win %. Even nestea has a worst matchup (granted its still like a 67% win vT but 67 < 85 and 90)
