Is that top and nada just sitting in there during the break chilling?

Just realized MKP isn't there. So sad

that is also my prediction. badluck MC u just screwed urself

Hmm, interesting. I think MC's choice can backfire hard on him. Even if MVP finishes 2nd and matches with Nestea, then its not that bad, because MVP has ridiciolously good TvZ. However, if MC gets 2nd by a chance, then im not sure if he is that good against zerg.

Yeah but the top players in each group get separated out across the bracket. For instance, if Nestea is #1 in group A, and MC (or MVP) gets #1 in group B, they won't meet until the finals.

I thought it was because he was very cocky and then couldn't back it up.

First and second place from each group goes to opposite sides of the bracket. Each side will have a player from A-H. If Nestea comes in first and MC comes in first, you can have a Nestea vs MC finals Thats actually awesome then, why are people complaining? The winners from groups A and B can automatically meet in the finals, whats better than that?

It's a Ladder-Type tournament. They were going to take the Top 10 in GSL points, starting with 10 playing 9. Each place in the tournament has a value in money that's pretty good. (I can't find a link to this when the full GSL schedule was announced, but it was there). Whoever wins 9 vs 10 plays 8, all the way up to playing #1. So #1 is ensured a good chunk of money + only having to play 1 round of the Ladder.

Every GSL nomination gets me hoping for best final scenario...may it come true for once. PLEASE.

Top tip for people who, like me, just got to this thread a minute ago, looked at group B, and thought "how can I find an explanation for that?"
Click on "All" to view the whole thread then type the following:
CTRL-F
"Boss"
<Enter>
Works nicely.

And as far as i am aware its not strictly A v B, C v D on one side of the bracket. they can change it up at any time before it starts so they split up the good players.

I don't like Nada's haircut. =/

In scbw, he did a slash-throat ceremony BEFORE he started the game. Then he lost. lols ensued.

All bomber needs is MC or MVP to take out nestea and the tournament is his to take. I like Bomber as much as the next guy, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Unless he improves his ZvT, there's a decent chance that he could lose to Violet in the first game =/ Yeah, he only has a shitty 70% win rate. hes basically screwed
Not to mention violet tends to play an aggressive low economy game which is similar to July's. Bomber passive macro game is pretty good against that.
