Yeah just because a new strategy emerges that is really strong doesn't mean an immediate nerf is necessary. Blizzard already screwed up TvP when they removed energy from Thors without giving Protoss enough time to come up with a counter to that style. I didn't watch the game but it sounds like Ret made an obvious yet small mistake after scouting Rain's build, whereas, avoiding that, he would have been in a good position to win. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong though, I'm just going off of secondhand information. It would be like if you nuked your own army after being 40 supply up and lost the game - would you still be saying "hey, guys, c'mon there is a winner and a loser the winner clearly deserved the win"? I mean at some point you have to say, okay this guy was in a good position to win but he really botched it in a way that normally he doesn't allow to happen.
