SLush (+1.5) vs Socke for Match. 1.671
RET vs MMA for Match. 1.329
CrunCher (+1.5) vs IdrA for Match. 2.140
GanZi vs Kiwikaki for Match. 1.337 <<<<<< took this one just for the epic odds :D
Rain vs MMA for Match. 1.345

Can someone please explain Slush's TvZ style we've seen at this MLG?
- Basically no creep spread - Double roach warren but doesn't timing attack when upgrade(s) finish, seems to be enough time for both roach upgrades to finish from one warren - No attack/armor upgrades until very late - No transition to hive - No capacity for pressure - No macro (Rain takes both his 3rd and 4th before Slush)
I'm a Terran player, but I don't understand how this style can win, or what it is supposed to achieve.

Rain beats Slush while engaging with half his army...

They're both playing sloppy, MLG is like a marathon when you consider the amount of games etc not to mention the schedule

He wins by the Terran not realising he is massing up roaches. It is a massive gamble. Pretty bad build though. He is a hugely overrated player. Finishing high up in old MLGs wasn't hard yo.

He finished 5th last MLG, and that had Koreans in it too so I don't what constitutes "old MLGs", he's been pretty consistent.
He is playing pretty badly right now though.

I believe he placed 5th @ last MLG as well? Behind the Koreans & IdrA afaik. He isn't overrated imo, at least I never see him get any credit, while he definitely deserves some.
