Ok it didn't suck.... you obviously don't care anything about the history of starcraft, so why would I expect you to enjoy this? trolls don't understand.

I know it was fun and all but this completely destroyed the magical rivalry for me, i didnt expect yellow to be so bad i thought he wouldnt want to go out on a stage and play like that. like he said, he has never been beaten so badly and to see boxer just toy with him kinda mad me sad for yellow

GOM Player is ruining e-sports by not loading..... god dammit all!
|
i'm glad half the audience didn't leave right after yellow announced he was gold, and after the first game which proved that. if anything, people leaving proves they care more about top class sc2 play than about bw legends, not the opposite

ohhh man, i loved the show match, but i was hoping to see NaDa and JulyZerg pop out afterwards and have an ambush match with boxer! that would be extraordinary awesome!@

blue eyes white tasteless

so fun to watch those too again. I really liked the bunker train from Boxer

A lot of people in Korea are probably really hype about that, I can't really tell if it will be a good or bad thing about SC2 being pushed into Korea.
On one hand, they can laugh at it, kind of like how a lot of people do already, or they can alternatively remember how they saw Boxer or Yellow playing BW on stage like that, and feel like Sc2 is growing rapidly.
Just a thought, but as a fan of both BW and Sc2, I can't wait to see more of each! Well, SPL finals are tomorrow kr time and are in China anyway
It's probably the one thing on every Starcraft Fan's mind in Korea either way, needless to say they're all hype no matter where the event is being held.
Even for BW fans in the US it's a short while until it starts, but I'm still super pumped for it!

No....
You can't have 2 rivals, rivals at the calibur of people like BoxeR and YellOw on the same team, and besides, at the end of it all, BoxeR said he has no real psychological pressure in terms of who he plays period atm, at least not in the Korean scene (White-ra mb? lol). YellOw also mentioned rage, although he was probably saying it in a joking way.

That wasn't that far below other sc2 showmatches I have seen. I believe it was NaDa vs MC where MC ended up losing the final game when NaDa held off his carrier rush lol. This is what show matches tend to look like in korea. Silly builds, half hearted play, and lots of trash talk in chat.

i didnt follow yelow's career at all, although i watched their past games together in preparation for this, still, it was disappointing...
i dont understand why would they do a showmatch when yellow clearly isnt familiar with starcraft 2

I've never seen boxer troll so much The show was worth every second! Loved it!!!
|
That was so fun! I felt like a little kid again watching those two (kinda how John mentioned) and had a big banana grin on my face the whole time. It felt really good and is the first time in a while I've smiled for a really really long time.
|
they should of waited like 5 or 6 months before doing the show match so yellow would be able to learn HOW TO handle blue flame hellions (god damn there so annoying).
|
That was entertaining to watch and that does come from someone who didn't follow StarCraft 1. Yeah, Boxer did outclass Yellow quite a bit but it was a showmatch and I think it did quite well to entertain.
But I am curious to see what the chat was in the game
On a side note, what else was shown at that outdoor event? Was it just the Boxer vs Yellow match or was there more?
|
When/if someone comes out with a chat translation, someone add it to the OP, please? :D
|
I really do feel like GOM lost their chance to show off their code S players, even a ro8 of their best code S players would have been nice.
Then they can top the night off with boxer vs yellow... So many people just got up and left after the first game...

It's not like toss and terran where you can perform at a certain level if you have good mechanics. Yeah like Yellow never played Zerg in BW :>
You realise it's completly different right? Larva management in BW and SC2 are two completely different things and seeing how YellOw didn't even remade queens on Tal'Darim and his larvas inject were sloppy you can see that he has RTS mechanics but isn't totally adapted to SC2 .
