Sounds great! I know I loved to watch live gameplay action on their WOGL.TV broadcast. So, with the caster WOGL has lined up and the Steel Series prizes for this event, it will be a great event! Also, that 14,000USD+ sounds like a sweet deal to me! I cannot wait!
We are looking for a few more casters as well if you are interested please send me a PM here on TL Site.
Looks awesome, others have checked in on the website and i'm not able to, this isn't an issue is it? my name is telecom on the site xD thanks

We check them in. Good luck in the event. Looks like you are all set.
Registration for this event will end on the 29th. Matches begin the 31st. Don't miss your opportunity to compete against the best players in the world on behalf of the USA at the IeSF World Championship in Korea in October.
Updated post with video on the IeSF for people who do not know about them yet.
Need some more pro players to sign up! Slogg needs competition!
Fnatic's very own KawaiiRice is signed up to compete. Count me in to play!
Only one player for the entire US? What about other countries?

We have 2 spots left. Brackets get released tomorrow.

I was wondering if IdrA was going to sign up. Glad to see both him and Sheth in it.
We have now released the brackets. You can view them Here
Matches and casting will begin on Wednesday night stay tuned to this thread for updated info.
Is this all in one day or 1 match per day? o_O?
Tons of scrubs but then you put IdrA vs Sheth in round 3? O_o That's def the 2 favorites to win that have to play each other so soon in the tourney
1 match per day Kawaii. next round will be Saturday. However some people will have other events so it gives time to schedule in between.
We don't set the bracket match ups the system randomizes them.
soooooooo is it over? I just saw the "IeSF U.S. Qualifier" thing popup without a link.
So the site is telling me that round 2 actually start tonight at:

Can you fix this? Also... maybe make the site... nicer in general?

So round 2 is on saturday then? im very confused by the site.
I wish I lived in the US!!!
- I also wish I was good enough to compete
Wow IdrA is going to hit Sheth already in the brackets Its just the third round and we are going to lose one of these two badasses
It's double elimination they could see each other again.
Tune in tonight as Idra and Sheth face off as well as Vilehawk and inControl. Should be some great match ups tonight.
Must represent WOGL, e-sports, your team, and the United States in a professional manner.
I'd really like to know their definition of 'professional.' What if Idra is the qualifier? Are middle fingers 'professional'?

Really? Try harder.
Looking forward to Sheth vs IdrA.

Looking at the brackets, lots of matches have no results while they should have been played days ago. The tournament seems to be dead, isn't it?
Edit: NVM, the brackets have been updated, a little late though.

I love how you just "forget" about Titan although he came within 2 Bo3s from winning the whole thing

Oh, nevermind. Just realized Sheth is playing under liquidSheth. My bad.
idra ling pushes sheth
another game determined by build order
Heh IdrA actually pretty friendly with Sheth it appears. They chat on stream and stuff too.
GG + Show Spoiler +

WOW....
+ Show Spoiler +Looks like idra learned his lesson from the gosucoaching game and knew Sheth's muta timing and hit it hard. Poor sheth revealed his newer ZvZ strat a tad too early in a less important game earlier
Sheth with the failed muta switch on shattered temple -.-.

him and idra hit eachother all the time on ladder doing the muta build its really fun to watch they seem to go 50-50ish

Interesting...
Guess that explains how precise his timing was then, thought it was almost too good since the spire was about 1s away from finishing.

It was pretty much over when Idra's lings surrounded 8-10 lings of Sheth and killed them off. If Sheth had those lings, he could probably have blocked Idra advancing up the ramps.
Idra is going to the IPL tournament in Atlantic City, which is from October 6-9. The IeSF tournament is from 6-10th, so Sheth will most likely go as the replacement (unless he qualifies for IPL, too)
Did Sheth have an advantage for not dropping a set? I missed the first half.

He started up 1-0.

Yes, Sheth started the Bo5 at 1-0 because he previously won 2-1 against IdrA.
So who won? Or is it still running?

Well yeah, that was my question . Seems kind of fair.

As an update to this event which is disappointing in some respects both idra and Sheth are now attending IPL3 and will not be coming to the IeSF event in Korea. While it is disappointing we are happy to be taking QxG Agh who will represent the USA and who finished 3rd in the qualifier.

Woah, I didn't expect Sheth to get an invite to the IPL3. Sucks he won't be in Korea representing the U.S. at IeSF.

Really unfortunate to have this happen, its really hard to blame any of the players. On one hand the IPL event was just announced and has a much larger prizepool and prestige in the SC2 world, on the other hand this IeSF event is a tournament where one represents his country so there is national pride involved.
Agh is going to reprsent USA? No offence to Agh, but...
So what was the deal? Was the prize 14k for the qualifier, or is the final event the one with te massive prizepool?

The "prize" is the right to represent your country in a tournament.
