[FFC] Summer SC2 Open ~$850 in Prizes!

With this tournament, Frag for Cancer is aiming to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Camp Goodtime Program.

Frag For Cancer is a gaming initiative that runs events to raise funds and awareness to fight cancer. We are all passionate volunteers who enjoy gaming with a goal of directing 100% of the money raised to cancer charities. The only way an event like this can come together is through the collective effort of enthusiastic volunteers, generous sponsors and wonderful participants. It all started with a gamer who lost his father to cancer and vowed to raise awareness and funds while encouraging philanthropy. In 5 years, we’ve held multiple gaming LANs and tournaments raising over $22,000 for various cancer charities.

The event will be presented by Bell Aliant FibreOp . Our hosting and tournament organization will be managed by z33k and media sponsorship will be covered by the Collegiate Starleague.

Mode of Play: 1v1 StarCraft 2, Single Elimination Tournament
Start Date: Sat July 30th, 12pm PT/3PM EST
End Date: Sat Aug 6th, 9pm PST/12AM EST
Registration Deadline: The start of the tournament.
Bracket: 256+

Status: Sign-up
Eligible Regions: ONLY CANADA
Eligible Leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master
Casters: NASL, Jarett Cale from Pure Pwnage, Adebisi

The event is single elimination with a 256 person bracket. The first two rounds will be Bo1, and then until Semi Finals will be Bo3. The final match will be Bo5. Live casting of the matches will not begin until the second day of the tournament from the Ro8 and onwards.

Only open to Canada this time around, sorry! =(
