Stephano or Morrow would be fun, but they were in the last one, and I don't know if they're trying for mostly new people. Catz could make things fun. I don't know the lesser known zergs very well. Merz would certainly be an interesting choice. His Crack APM. Happy's another Terran who could certainly make the cut. I actually think sixjax_Vibe would be a pretty ace choice as a lesser known zerg. I've watched that guy playing recently a few times and hes improved a lot. His nydus worm play is pretty crazy at times. On July 20 2011 04:49 wklbishop wrote: About Thorzain, since Naniwa was not invited for reasons of being in Korea, wouldn't Thorzain also not be invited? And Goody would be an awesome choice. The guy has such obvious flaws in mechanics and the more visible aspects of the game, looking at him play, I feel like I'm almost watching someone who's not a pro play; yet the guy wins, so there's definitely other aspects (starsense maybe) of his play that is heads and shoulders above all the other pros good that make him so good. No idea what the situation with thorzain is regarding when he is leaving to Korea. Might be the same plane flight as Naniwa, might be leaving at another date. Perhaps someone in the know could fill us in. I actually have no idea why almost no one else copys Goody's style. In TvT it's caught on. But he has demonstrated consistently the ability to defeat top zerg and protoss opponents who damn well know in advance hes going to go mech. Watching Goody play is certainly a wonder to behold.

Lost to Select at GadgetShow (biggest lan he's been at). Lots of potential, nice for him to get a chance in this, get his name out there and show some good games hopefully. Thanks, sounds good.

It might not diminish your right, I'm not sure what the TL moderation guidelines are...but this whole discussion seems off-topic to me. You don't seem to want to talk about Shoutcraft Invitational #2. You seem to want to talk about TotalBiscuit and Idra resolving their past disputes, with a tiny piece on the side where if this happened then maybe just maybe Idra could be invited to future tournaments. Perhaps you should start a new thread, and everyone interested in discussing the resolution of issues between Idra and TotalBiscuit can have at it. If you do start this thread, I'd like to think that you'd be pressing Idra as hard as you're pressing TB to "be the bigger man" and resolve things. Considering that this tournament is happening in just a few days, I would guess all invites have already been sent, and all that remains is for them to be announced and for the tournament to happen. Therefore, nothing more that you could say on the subject is relevant to this tournament announcement thread. Edited to add: I apologize for this post, it seems Hot Bid has already taken care of business. Can't wait to see who the Terrans will be!!!

He did mention something about a "dark horse." Any speculation on who he may have meant by that? I've heard of everyone mentioned so far, so I'm wondering if the dark horse is yet to be announced, or if maybe Bling was who he was talking about.

I'm pretty sure Bling falls under that category.
